Finally finished the reference art for my Guild Wars 2 OC, Bhradain! Mordrem turned Mesmer Sylvari, he hunts for Rifts as a member of the Astral Ward! #guildwars

@fast_benjamin @Auresii Even more importantly even the older maps are playable in the end game. They aren't level specific and that gives so much more to do!!

@InkwingFinch @Auresii I've played a lot of MMO's and I have to agree, the maps in GW2 are #1. They feel alive, populated and full of events to keep you wandering around.

@Auresii Oh my gosh, I found out about the trains when I was in Sandswept for the Regalia legendary! 11 bounties was horrifying until they swept me up into their group! XD

@InkwingFinch So true. For me, the active community really helps contribute to that! I never knew there were "trains" until PoF training point trains! Helped me discover so much of the map with a group and help with Character progression simultaneously

A follow up from yesterday's character concept, I took a few hours to whip up a reference of Zhetta with her companion, Gazzit. Gazzit was born without back legs, so Gazzit built him prosthetics.... out of stolen Inquest tech. :x #guildwars2

@Quan2three I feel it's 90% this scenario. I have the feeling that even if we beat Vloxx, he still somehow succeeds with his plan, meaning the Charr/Human conflict doesn't happen, a different dragon woke up, etc

My GW3 take. This is not a pure prequel. Vloxx did something crazy and reset the world. This is a sequel. We are going back into the time where the world was corrected and it predates GW2 and GW1. GW2 Sylvari, Charr, Norn are too popular to gut. They are left out of any reveal until its time. They will be in GW3 as another faction that has not been announced. How they get back there is the mystery. "raise your banners" = Multiple factions not just us. 2028-29 estimated MMO and stuck with 4 races with this game technology era? Naw. @dem0npaws I'm going to argue that even with it going to 3 games, @ArenaNet does an amazing job not only maintaining the IPs they have out as is, sticking out 21 years with Guild Wars 1, they are willing to listen to the community and feedback. If this was Blizzard, then I'd agree
