The "Quiet Revival" report that the Bible Society released on the back of polling from YouGov has been withdrawn on the basis of unreliable data thetablet.co.uk/news/bible-soc…

Many of you have followed the news around 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘘𝘶𝘪𝘦𝘵 𝘙𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘷𝘢𝘭 report over the past year. Today, we want to share some disappointing news. YouGov has informed us that the 2024 survey sample our report was based on was faulty. While this error does not mean all the findings were wrong, it does mean we can't stand behind them on the basis of this survey alone. We’re deeply disappointed that YouGov has only recently identified this issue, especially after repeated assurances about the data’s reliability. We know many of you may feel discouraged too. YouGov has taken full responsibility and issued an apology. You can read our full statement here 👇 cstu.io/4c3047

@CapelLofft Minutes later post partum though technically still a crime will be impossible to prove as infanticide rather than term abortion of a 39wk fetus & no police will investigate anyway so it is now also effectively decriminalised by the new law

Dame Sarah Mullally reiterates the Church of England's historic opposition to abortion as she confirms she will vote against the decriminalisation of abortion.

The UK House of Lords votes today on whether to allow abortion UP TO BIRTH. Video below is a baby at 30 weeks' gestation showing pain responses. Bishops of Norwich and Winchester have confirmed they are not attending. No word from the Archbishop of York either way. Very sad.

Just released and #OpenAccess. I've been waiting for years to see these letters attributed to the emperor Leo III and the caliph ʿUmar II published. isac.uchicago.edu/article/now-av…

This is huge! A new Syriac chronicle has been discovered dating to around AD 712-13 and covering the 7th century. Absolutely amazing. heritagedaily.com/2026/02/1300-y…
