Today on #DIPG/#DMG awareness day I’m wishing as much comfort as possible to all those families that have lost a child. To families with an affected child, we are working as hard, as fast, and as safely as possible at @seattlechildren to find a cure. #EndDIPG #EndDMG

In 2023 I’m challenging my own mindset & fighting in the ring. Whatever platform it may be, I’ll also use it to raise money for DIPG Cancer charities. Being introduced to Isla this year, made me determined to do my bit in helping these poor kids. @MisfitsBoxing @MamsTaylor

Adult cancers are valued more than Children cancers which is odd, bc if Children were given the same funding as Adults, they would have a better chance of survival to live long enough to become Adults. Adults are given 96% & Children are ONLY given 4% of #cancer research.

Feeling unsteady is not a sign of instability. It's often a path to progress. Standing still feels secure, but gaining momentum to move forward requires tilt or sway. Walking is controlled falling. Being in equilibrium breeds comfort. Feeling off balance leads to growth.

January 28, 1962: Neil Armstrong’s 2 year old Daughter died from #DIPG Brain Cancer. March 8, 2022: 99% of Children diagnosed w/ DIPG will not Live more than 11 months from diagnosis.

For me it would be brain cancer. Robbed my beautiful Daniel of his amazing life at 17. Losing my son has completely destroyed me. I keep going but am totally broken inside. Losing a child to cancer is unimaginable 💔

One RT for knowing what glioblastoma is would give me a indication of how many people have heard of it. My beautiful and only daughter died nearly 6 years ago from it.
