@_willcompton Timeline is off. Crabtree was released after the Grant deal was off.
Grant and Brockers both played 1 more seasons before the injuries the Ravens medical staff identified ended their careers.
This is proof that the medical works and supports the Ravens decision.

Ravens literally backed out on a player they KNEW was hurt.
Unless it’s a career ending injury for Maxx Crosby… (highly doubtful)
The Ravens backing out of this screams to the world that they got cold feet and are bad business partners.
ALSO, they backed out on this deal after the first 2 days of free agency.
They know damn well if all these other teams had a shot at Maxx in the same cap capacity they did… they could have been outbid.. but now that all these other teams are signing players. They have effectively driven down the price on Maxx WHILE ALSO saying that his health is trash.
It’s a win/win for Baltimore and the whole fucking league knows it.

I’m just confused by what this big master plan was for the Ravens that they went through this to execute? In no way does reneging on this deal benefit the team lol Even if they sign Trey Hendrickson… he was a UFA? They soiled their reputation to sign a UFA? Like what?

@Carsobi Because neither will play much the rest of this year. They will keep their top 8 protected 1st and have a hopeful top 5 pick with a strong young core and 2 vet stars w playoff experience who will be healthy and ready for next year.

The Wizards are really strange. I do not get this hard push to be competitive (but just decent) right now while you're still trying to develop so much young talent.
