My blog explains that during real conversation, our brains automatically sync up—we predict what others will say and align our language with theirs. This is why genuine understanding requires back-and-forth dialogue, not just clear emails or presentations. I argue that how educators talk with each other directly shapes student learning, yet most receive no training in professional dialogue.
