Wow! Unlike videos from inside the ballroom, in this video outside the ballroom at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, you can clearly hear multiple gunshots that must have been very close by, followed by pure panic.

Your Saturday "More You Know" moment where you can impress your neighbor Kyle as he bitches about gas prices. I bet Kyle didnt know that Americans discovered and developed the resources in the Middle East. The massive Gulf fields that dominate today? Largely unlocked by U.S. companies in the 1930s. Kyle probably doesn't know that just like we did in Venezuela, western companies brought the drilling tech and capital that launched those industries. In 1908 the first big commercial strike in Persia (Iran) at Masjed Soleyman. British-led Anglo-Persian Oil Co (later BP) sparked the race. So a tip of the hat to the Brits - back when they had grit. But the real transformation of the Arabian side? That came from Americans. 1932: Bahrain. First oil discovered on the Arab side of the Gulf — by Standard Oil of California (Socal, now Chevron). Bahrain Petroleum Co (BAPCO) strikes it at Jebel Dukhan, where Americans prove the region’s potential. 1933–1938: Saudi Arabia. King Abdulaziz grants concession to Socal. American geologists and drillers risk it all in the desert. On March 3, 1938: Dammam No. 7 gushes commercial oil. This was the birth of Saudi oil — now the world’s largest reserves. Pure American smarts and perseverance. 1938: Kuwait. Burgan field (one of the biggest ever) discovered by Kuwait Oil Co which was a 50/50 American Gulf Oil and the British. U.S. tech and expertise were key. Kyle probably doesn't know that Americans were in on the ground floor across the Peninsula. They brought the capital, engineers, rigs, and know-how when others couldn't. They built Aramco (originally California Arabian Standard Oil), pipelines, refineries. While Britain got the first strike in Iran, Americans discovered and developed the oil across Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and parts of Kuwait — the heart of Middle East energy. Oh and Libya. But that is another post. And that is your short history lesson for the day. Tell Kyle. He will be impressed.

Admit it: Your kid mispronounced a word three years ago and now the whole family says it that way. What's the word in your house? (We still say 'pasketti' and I’m not stopping anytime soon.)

Okay… I gotta know. Who is this woman in the red dress? Whoever she is, I applaud her for having the courage to stand up in support of her nation and her president, even when the vast majority of her party (the Democrats) refused to.

Middle schoolers in Utah staged a walkout to protest ICE. They threw stuff at cars, vandalized buses, and protested through stores. Schools are turning your kids in leftist activists.

One of the things about excellence and virtue is that it doesn’t just stay in its lane. It compounds and spreads across all aspects of a life. Always beautiful to see a good person (and a good family) achieve great things.

Former Nicolás Maduro security guard delivers a firsthand account of the advance technology used in the U.S. raid in Venezuela. State-of-the-art drones, massive firepower, but the Direct Energy Weapons were the most terrifying. 20 elite American soldiers, armed with cutting-edge technology, dismantled defenses and neutralized hundreds without a single casualty on their side. This isn't just a story of victory—it's a masterclass in modern warfare supremacy. The Americans arrived undetected, Advanced electronic warfare systems completely disabled Venezuelan radars and other equipment. Drones struck with lightning speed, obliterating bases and outpacing any counter-response. The guard notes Venezuela had "no technology to fight against drones," highlighting the asymmetric edge of U.S. unmanned aerial systems. Most interesting, was the mention of Direct Energy Weapons, causing immediate incapacitation, with victims bleeding from ears, nose, and mouth. This matches the Long Range Acoustic Device (LRAD) or emerging directed-energy systems like the Active Denial System (ADS). and other electromagnetic and acoustic weaponry. If you follow me, this is nothing new and a taste of what we really have and are capable of. The result? 20 operators vs. hundreds, equaling total domination. "You think you can fight Americans? You don't even know what their weaponry is like." With President Trump eyeing Mexico's cartels next—"You're on the list too" Don't FAFO with the USA!
