@fredman_a I think your assessment is quite possible. And I have analyzed in the past what I think is required to get regime change. But this article is also backwards looking. Various officials in 2 countries have sought to, unjustifiably, blame the lack of instant regime change on Barnea

@jeremybob1 I don't know if that is a warning or just a realistic assessment. It may be that the U.S. and Israel help put in place a process that culminates in months or a year from now in the people being able to successfully rise up.
