The player was keen to join, but Brighton blocked the move in both the summer and January windows. United informed Baleba they might revisit the deal in summer 2026. That verbal agreement remains valid, and Baleba is still very keen on a move to Manchester United. He continues to be a target for the club’s scouting department, although nothing is advanced yet.
