AMCHAM, in collaboration with @foresightlawind , organized a hybrid workshop on India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 & Rules, 2025. The session, themed ‘Practical Insights, Legal Risks & Compliance Imperatives,’ brought together senior legal, compliance, and technology professionals to discuss the evolving implications of India’s data protection framework for businesses operating in the country. Who decides what is “safe enough” for AI? That question framed the AMCHAM-EY session, bringing together legal, compliance and policy perspectives to examine how organizations can move forward with AI adoption responsibly.
