@therealgregjack Landlordism should be run like that reality tv show where rich pricks swop accommodation with poor folks. LLs forced to live 6 months per year in their scuzziest, least desirable rental. That'd soon sort out the black mould & festering drains, etc. Seymour's level playing field.
English

@KauriRoni At the same time as many of them turn loose 'property managers" to enforce near feudal conditions on their tenants.Multiple inspections to maintain ludicrous standards of tidiness. Bonds withheld because rubbish bins are "dirty"!

@eccankiwi We need a complete political & economic reset to fairly spread the wealth and benefits of our beautiful country: Renationalise our stolen assets, Kick out Comalco, Build rail not roads, Free tertiary education, Tax social media, Community control of media & elected officials...

@otautahi_p #DBSeymour to Courts for his remanded #ACTParty Pres: "Blanket restrictions forced on communities from WLG didn't just make it harder for peeps to get what they wanted quickly and slyly, they drained the joy from life as perps were forced to follow rules they knew made no sense,"
English

@therealgregjack Can't for the life of me understand why anyone would take the taxpayers union polling as honest, impartial and accurate. They've got skin in the game, they're ACTivists with an agenda, so will have downplayed the plunging support for the coalition.

So @chrisluxonmp, can I get a comment about the allegations that @actparty spent $19 per vote, mainly in foreign money, and whether this is what you meant by AoNZ not getting its fair share of Foreign Investment.
Was this just the start?Buying the election with Foreign money?
English

@actparty Heh! Tell that to the Canterbury rivers. Farming has such a history of environmentalism eh: Bush clearance, high-country erosion, super phosphate run-off, 245T, roundup, over-stocking, water-way degradation, etc. But wait! You say they've changed? No longer just chasing the $$$?
English

"Here’s one thing lefties and environmentalists don’t understand: farmers are the true environmentalists.
"We live off the land, so we have every incentive to care for it. New Zealand farmers are the most emissions-efficient in the world, so punishing them, only for that production to be done offshore, makes absolutely no sense from an environmental perspective. ACT understands that."

@AdrienneBerwic1 @actparty I agree, recognising that globally, first nations' rights were systematically & brutally crushed by "long ago" Euro-supremacist colonial violence, and that present day actions to right those wrongs, is "moving forward".
English

@KauriRoni @actparty As per the Treaty if there was proof the family had continually lived on the land they were granted ownership & what they chose to do with land was their decision. Decisions were made long ago & as with all historical actions we can not turn back the clock only move forward.

"My four children are Maori. They are also Pakeha. And through my husband’s side, they are Cambodian. But above all, they are individual people, with unique experiences and their own perspectives on the world.
"I find it offensive, and frankly racist, that anyone would put one aspect of their identity on a pedestal, above all the rest."
