Standards have increased, graduation rates have increased test scores have also increased since the creation of the department of education. Taxes expand, they rarely contract. Look at the federal income tax. Started as a 7% tax on those earning $500,000 or more a year (~$15 million today). WW1 comes around, government spending soars and the tax brackets were expanded (and never reduced after the war). So get fucked.

Leaving the United States and setting up elsewhere we tax 15-20 percent of unrealized gains after a million as an exit tax. That would be a lot Elon would pay over 160,000,000,000 and they would be losing the infrastructure they get in the us that made them that money in the first place so it’s not worth it in the long run. Otherwise they would just do that now there are countries that don’t Tax gains at all
