Leicestershire Fire Service are currently in attendance with Leicestershire Police at an incident on London Road, Leicester. This is an ongoing incident, cordons are in place, please avoid the area.

🚨LFRS are currently dealing with a Building Fire on Hunter Road, Leicester. Please keep doors and windows closed if you are within the area.

Please be aware of the dangers associated with frozen ponds and lakes, at this time of year. Never go on the ice!

🚨BT are experiencing a loss of the 999 sytem in the Ashby De La Zouch area. They have advised that some may experience no dial tone and be unable to make outgoing calls including dialling 999 from their landline. Calls to 999 through mobile phones should be OK.
