The registration for Primary 1 in 2025 is now live on the North Ayrshire Council website! If your child is about to begin primary 1 in August 2025 then you will need to register them for a place. For all of the details and to register, go to: north-ayrshire.gov.uk/education-and-…. Registration will take place from today (the 11th of November) until the 24th of November.

📚To celebrate @BookWeekScot 🌈⭐️Largs EYC will be taking part in a book swap ❤️ the children will bring in their pre-loved books and be able to choose a new book from the selection provided! We will also have a selection of adult books on offer for our parents/carers. #Eco

🎶To celebrate @worldrhymeweek the children took part in lots of experiences linking with their favourite nursery rhymes 🕷️⭐️🐠these activities also supported various curricular areas including #numeracy, #literacy, STEM and #expressivearts 🎶 @NAC_STEM

Throughout October, we have been celebrating ‘Black History Month’ ❤️ This links with our focus on UNCRC and is underpinned by Articles 2 & 30. The children took part in various experiences allowing them to gain an understanding of African and black culture @UNCRC #BlackHistory

🎃Halloween 2024🎃 We had a ‘spooktacular’ turnout for our family challenge this year to decorate a pumpkin! Take a look at how creative some of our families are 🤩 well done everyone! We hope you all have a wonderful Halloween 👻 #familyengagement

♻️After working in line with @KSBScotland over the last year, we are delighted to have gained our Eco-schools green flag 🌳Our children have been involved in experiences to learn more about the environment, Eco stay & play sessions for our families and a community beach clean ⭐️

🌈⭐️Open Evening⭐️🌈 Tonight, we had the opportunity to meet some of our new children and families that start with us in Aug/Jan/April ❤️ Staff set up lots of lovely provocations & experiences for the children to explore both inside and out 💭#partnerships

Linking with the children’s current interests of ‘People Who Help us’, today we had a visit from our campus Police Officer 👮‍♂️ PC Pollard! He spent time chatting to the children and also discussed the topic of Road Safety as this week is #walktoschoolweek🚶🏻‍♂️@PSOSNAyrshire

The @singingsuitcase came to visit Largs EYC last week 🎶 The children thoroughly enjoyed joining in with lots of singing and dancing 🤩 Thank you very much for a fun and engaging session 🎵#singalong #interactive #expressivearts

Over the last few weeks, we have provided a variety of workshops for parents/carers to attend! These have given opportunities for parents to work together with their children to develop learning ❤️ as well as given ideas to try at home 🏠 #eco #literacy #numeracy #partnership
