The Israeli army attacked a convoy of Red Crescent ambulances. They handcuffed the paramedics. They executed them by shooting them in the head and chest. Then they threw their bodies into a mass grave. What. Does. It. Take. theguardian.com/world/2025/apr…

Israel has intentionally blocked aid in Gaza, targeted humanitarian workers & has now banned Gaza’s primary aid lifeline, UNRWA. Starvation is being used as a weapon of war. Words aren’t enough. We need sanctions, a full arms embargo & for the Israeli Ambassador to be expelled.

Governments, including UK and US, that did not hold Israel to account for its genocidal assault on Gaza are complicit in the horrors now unfolding in Lebanon. We demand nothing less than a full arms embargo, economic sanctions and ceasing of diplomatic support to Israel.

Between gaza, Lebanon, Sudan and the horrors of the music industry, the general state of the world, I feel so detached from this world. What do you mean we are just watching genocides unfold. Being muslim is honestly the only thing that helps keep me half sane.

Lebanese people are fearful of texting their loved ones in case their phones explode. Our government’s cowardly failure to call out this latest war crime is shameful. There is only one reasonable response: end all arms sales to Israel, now.

Shame on every journalist in the West who has sat silently by and not said a word as over a hundred of their colleagues in Gaza have been killed by Israel, again and again and again. What happened to ‘journalism is not a crime’? To standing for press freedom? Shame on them.
Middle East Eye@MiddleEastEye

This is the moment journalists in Gaza found out that their colleagues, Al Jazeera journalist Ismail al-Ghoul and his cameraman Ramy El Rify, were killed in an Israeli strike on Gaza City, bringing the number of killed Palestinian journalists since 7 October to 165. Video by: osama.s.ashi

This was Palestine’s first ever flag bearer at the Olympics, Majed Abu Maraheel, in Atlanta ‘96. Abu Maraheel was killed in Gaza last month. Unable to receive adequate care at Gaza’s destroyed hospitals, he died of kidney failure. These killings don’t figure in the death toll.
