🇺🇸🇮🇷 Trump tells ABC's Jonathan Karl he expects "an amazing two days ahead" and doesn't think extending the ceasefire will be necessary... "I think a deal is preferable because then they can rebuild. They really do have a different regime now. We took out the radicals. They're gone." He's framing two possible endings: a deal where Iran rebuilds under new leadership, or the U.S. simply declares mission accomplished and walks away. Either way, he's claiming victory. But "we took out the radicals, they're gone" doesn't match reality. The new Supreme Leader pledged to continue his father's policies. The IRGC walked out of Islamabad saying they'd fight "by any means necessary." And Ghalibaf flew to the talks with photos of dead children in empty seats. The radicals are angrier, more unified, and now running a country with proven deterrence capabilities.
