@MBL2 @BSBIbotany That would be these I imagine?😂😂😂😂
Found them whilst on a River management course last March. There were an awful lot too!

Went looking for Yellow Star-of-Bethlehem along the Swale yesterday as I’d not seen it on the river before.
First site (unsurprisingly) drew a blank but success at another just downstream of Richmond.
Only two plants and on the edge of an ever widening footpath.

@davebarlo @teesbirds1 Bang on for Baird's as far as I can make out
English

@teesbirds1 What do you think of this wader? An old friend of mine saw this bird in Runswick bay recently. He is a very experienced birder and thinks it is a Baird’s sandpiper. I agree with his conclusion but what do you think? Poor iPhone images though

@swaledalebirds_ @timthefruit That's brilliant Martin! I have fond memories of Padlock Terrace, conveniently located close to Brian Caffrey's barber's shop.
English

Amazing what you find when yr looking for something.
Remember Wenlock Terrace Mike? 😂 @MBL2 @timthefruit
A good year for quail apparently!

@sedgefred10 @WoodlandWildli1 @teesbirds1 An excellent report Fred, based on a huge amount of fieldwork. I dread to think what a commercial ecological consultancy would charge!
English

@sedgefred10 @teesbirds1 1200 Wigeon is the highest count of the season here so far I think Fred.
English

@sedgefred10 @cyp_toon Kerb, not kerb! Don't get all Amerikay Fred!
