There is good reason to worry about the safety of our negotiators in Pakistan. The country is armed and dangerous and the government is not fully in control. Previous high level visits were short and they involved decoy aircraft, as when then-President Clinton surreptitiously changed airplanes so no one would know which one he was on. The USSS did not like President Bush going there in 2006. The Secret Service will be tested this trip. So too will the military that supports this mission. Pray for the safety of our negotiators, including the VP, and for their success.

USA wants to protect the petrodollar, Israel wants to expand its presence in the Middle East. I wouldn’t be surprised if UAE and Saudi become allies of Israel in the next 5 years. Because GCC countries don’t really have anyone strong backing them when it comes to security, especially if US bases get compromised or weakened, they will eventually need someone to rely on. At that point, they will only have 2 choices, Iran or Israel, and most likely they will go with Israel. We are slowly witnessing a major global shift where religion won’t really be the priority anymore, strategic interests will.

Just call the UAE "East Israel"
