Ed Balls, married to the UK Foreign Secretary, shockingly channels the ancient trope that the Jews bring about their own destruction. He also promotes the leftwing canard that when people other than Muslims are the victims of terrorist or hate-crimes -- including those perpetrated by Muslims -- the real problem is... hatred of Muslims. Well done to this young man for his steady answer to this repellently twisted question.
Andrew Neil@afneil

A quite appalling question from Ed Balls. His own? Or in a brief prepared for him by some intern? Either way a terrible question.

This was published by Tim Shipman on 14 February. It details how in the period up to 13 October, 2025 Labour officials became worried a motion would be put to parliament demanding the release of Morgan McSweeney's messages to Peter Mandelson. On October 20 McSweeney reported his mobile had been stolen.

Was half expecting this one to be first out of the blocks to condemn last night’s anti-Semitic attack in Golders Green .. but silence .. can’t think why .. ‘it’s up to all of us’ after all ..

It's up to all of us to stand up to racism for a kinder, more united, more caring Britain. Thank you to @EdwardJDavey for praying with us and being a voice for Muslim communities in dark times. And to everyone celebrating, Eid Mubarak!

"Antisemitism has no place in our society." A straightforward lie. Antisemitism has a strong and growing place in our society, as we see repeatedly. And not only does Starmer do nothing about it, his actions fuel it.
Keir Starmer@Keir_Starmer

This is a deeply shocking antisemitic arson attack.  My thoughts are with the Jewish community who are waking up this morning to this horrific news.  Antisemitism has no place in our society.  Anyone with any information must come forward to the police.

It’s quite clear that antisemitism does indeed have a place in British society, Keir. And a very comfortable one at that. You should perhaps be considering to what degree you and your government are responsible.

These ambulances, ran 100% by volunteers, save lives everyday in London (especially given that NHS ambulances now often taken hours to arrive). This has to be one of the most horrific acts of low-IQ antisemitic evil to happen here in recent yrs - against stiff competition.
Moshe Schwartz@YWNReporter

🚨🚨 BREAKING: Multiple Hatzolah ambulances have erupted in flames in London's Golders Green neighborhood. There is no immediate word on the cause, but antisemitic arson is the immediate suspicion.

This is cynical virtue signalling. You have supported two and a half years of hate marches on London streets chanting for the mass murder of Jews. You have never once called out this incitement, demonisation and lies against Israel and Zionists. The city you run is no longer a safe space for Jews. Own it.
Sadiq Khan@SadiqKhan

This is a cowardly attack on the Jewish community. I am in close contact with the police who are stepping up patrols in the area, and I urge anyone with information to come forward. Londoners will never be cowed by this kind of hatred and intimidation.

The deliberate arson attacks against Hatzola ambulances in London are a particularly sickening assault - not only on the Jewish community, but on the values we share as a society. Our Hatzola volunteer ambulance corps is an extraordinary service, whose sole mission is to protect life, Jewish and non-Jewish alike. The targeting of Hatzola by people so committed to terror, hatred and the desecration of life is a most painful illustration of the ongoing battle between those who sanctify life and those who seek to destroy it. At a time when Jewish communities around the world are facing a growing pattern of these violent attacks, we will meet this moment with shared resolve and stand together against hatred and intimidation.

Sadiq Khan is more than happy to refer to Islam incessantly when it comes to Ramadan lights, Donald Trump or Trafalgar Square iftars. But he is strangely reticent about referring to the role it played in the tragic deaths below. I guess deception is our strength too.
Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan@MayorofLondon

On the anniversary of the Westminster attack, we remember Leslie Rhodes, Andreea Cristea, Aysha Frade, Kurt Cochran, and PC Keith Palmer. My thoughts are with their loved ones. It was an attack on our city, but it could never break the values we hold dear.

Forty years in politics, I can tell you everything in this is correct and we’ve got a major electoral problem. The police, Electoral Commission, and many councils don’t take it seriously enough. It advantages some politicians so there’s pressure to ignore it. We need change.

Like so many ministers in the Starmer government (maybe most) this minister — Steve Reed — has no idea what he’s talking about and is totally out of his depth. Which, when the matter is national security, is rather serious.

Hannah Spencer MP: “This morning I’ve been at Madina Mosque and joined in prayers with everyone for Eid.” What will she do after Eid? She’ll have to attend Friday prayers to keep the charade going—and, no doubt, pray for the “resistance”.
