@educator4ever36 THAT’S “the greatest disservice you can think of”? Instead of letting each person figure out what works for them, you think the teacher should choose some one-size-fits-all mind-numbing noise? Interesting. I wonder if that says so much more about you than you might realize.

To the teachers that allow students to listen to music while doing independent work: you are doing the greatest disservice I can think of to kids. If anything, put on meditation or classical music for the class via your smart board.
