#Zimbabwe President Mnangagwa’s achievements will not be erased by false human rights claims. The economic data speaks for itself: a 212% GDP surge, from approximately $17 billion in 2017 to over $53 billion in 2025 achieved under some of the most severe economic restrictions in modern history, including sanctions from the US, UK, and EU. This growth has been driven by a 24% expansion in agriculture, 7.3% in mining, and a manufacturing sector that is steadily gaining momentum. Notably, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has independently validated this performance, projecting 6% GDP growth for 2025, surpassing most other nations in the region. This raises a critical question: if the government can deliver such tangible economic milestones while navigating sanctions, what is the real goal behind the emotional lies spread by individuals like @daddyhope and @matinyarare both of whom have a track record of pushing demonstrably false information? The latest fabricated story of human rights violations only serves to undermine their own credibility in the eyes of the majority of progressive Zimbabweans. To you, Mukoma @matinyarare 👇🏿 1. Separate supporter actions from presidential policy. You claim President Mnangagwa is destroying his legacy through violence and persecution. Please provide direct evidence not speculation where the President has personally called for violence or persecution over term limits. 2. Distinguish between a third term and a term extension. Fact: Many African presidents have pursued formal constitutional changes to reset term limits e.g., Kagame and Alassane Ouattara. NB: The Zimbabwean government is following constitutional processes✅ 3. Stop presenting “violence and persecution” as fact. Provide specific incidents, dates, and direct links to President Mnangagwa’s orders. Unverified social media posts or opposition claims do not constitute proof😏 By ignoring the documented economic data, these critics do a disservice to the millions of Zimbabweans who are benefiting from the $1.2 billion tobacco industry and the commissioning of major projects like the new 185MW solar plant. The focus should remain on defending this record of genuine progress. #AmendmentBill3🇿🇼 #BILL3BHOO👍🏿 #ED2030BHO is unstoppable #Vision2030 #CAB3

By President Mnangagwa letting his supporters try to extend his term limit through violence and persecution of those who don’t support his term extension, after saying that he is a constitutionalist who will step down when the time is right, in 2024, he is staining his own legacy as it now seems that like he is another power hungry President who doesn’t want to leave power. #CAB3 #NoToCAB3

I have just concluded a productive three-day State Visit to Accra, Ghana. My counterpart and I have signed several key agreements, and we are both fully committed to ensuring these are implemented for the mutual benefit of our two nations. Before my departure, I had the opportunity to tour the Sweden Ghana Cancer Medical Centre. This state-of-the-art facility, which utilizes nuclear energy for cancer treatment, is truly impressive. It is my vision to see a similar high-tech medical facility established in Zimbabwe to bolster our healthcare system. I want to extend my deepest gratitude to the people of Ghana for their exceptional hospitality. As I noted in the visitors' book, the warmth of this nation is remarkable. My thanks also go to President Mahama for the gracious send-off at Accra International Airport. Together, we continue to build bridges and strengthen our pan-African ties.

The #CAB3 public consultations have concluded successfully. Zimbabweans across all 10 Provinces spoke and the message was clear the people SUPPORT this process. When the opposition realised the majority of citizens are firmly behind #CAB3, they had nothing left but to brew false narratives and seed toxic violence. This is the desperate playbook of those who have no mandate and no argument. The people have spoken.

In a major step to boost Africa’s tourism diplomacy and unlock new economic opportunities, President @edmnangagwa and Ghana’s President Mahama oversaw the signing of ten MoUs in Accra, launching the Zimbabwe-Ghana Joint Permanent Commission. A standout agreement, signed by Tourism Minister Hon. @BarbaraRwodzi , strengthens bilateral ties through tourism, a key driver of growth, cultural exchange, and regional connectivity. The pact creates a robust platform for collaboration in joint promotion, research, skills development, investment, and product innovation. Together, both nations aim to enhance global visibility, attract more visitors, and build sustainable, complementary tourism sectors that deepen economic and diplomatic relations. @enkudheni @snowballOfficia @SokoCindy

Zimbabwe and Ghana today held an engagement with private and public sector stakeholders at the Ghana–Zimbabwe Business Roundtable, held on the sidelines of H.E. President @edmnangagwa’s State Visit to Ghana. The roundtable brought together policymakers, investors, and business leaders from both countries to explore opportunities for deepening bilateral economic cooperation. Discussions focused on identifying priority export sectors, improving routes to market, and developing practical solutions to enhance trade flows between Ghana and Zimbabwe. Key sectors highlighted included agribusiness, mining, manufacturing, energy, and infrastructure, areas where both nations have complementary strengths and significant potential for growth. Participants emphasized the importance of strengthening value chains, promoting industrial collaboration, and leveraging each country’s comparative advantages to drive mutual benefit. The engagement also underscored the critical role of the private sector in translating policy frameworks into tangible economic outcomes. By fostering direct connections between businesses, the roundtable is expected to unlock new investment opportunities, facilitate market entry, and reduce barriers to trade and enhance regional intergration. Such collaboration offers a pathway to increased export diversification, job creation, and enhanced economic resilience. It also aligns with broader continental efforts under the African Continental Free Trade Area to boost intra-African trade and build a more integrated and self-sustaining regional economy. The Ghana–Zimbabwe Business Roundtable marks an important step toward strengthening economic ties and advancing a shared vision of sustainable growth and prosperity for both nations.
