@AlhassanMaths Agree with using prime factors. Further, I've found it helpful to get them to reduce in multiple ways, then identify which is fully reduced; e.g., √72 = √(2 × 2 × 2 × 3 × 3)
= 2 √18
= 3 √8
= 6 √2
