Trump just dropped the FUNNIEST joke in Presidential history in front of the Japanese Prime Minister. “Who knows better about surprise than Japan? Why did you not tell me about Pearl Harbor? Right?” We will NEVER have a funnier President 🤣

Trump’s strategic moves around the world—from Venezuela to Greenland, Panama, and Iran—are all part of a broader effort to blunt China’s rise. China’s control over energy, supply chains, and critical resources presents a danger most Americans still don’t fully grasp. Jillian Michaels and Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna explain why confronting this threat must remain a top priority for the United States.

That’s me behind her. The Democrats on this committee behaved like petulant children and created drama and stormed out. So much for wanting the truth!
Gunther Eagleman™@GuntherEagleman

HOLY CRAP! Pam Bondi just said a Democrat SCREAMED in the briefing because @cspan cameras weren't in there. "They screamed C-SPAN wasn't there, one of them, and then they stormed out of the meeting." Democrats hate it when the limelight isn't given to them for BS chrades.

@Synk556 @DerekRSpeed @jasonjamesbnn why is it disingenuous? Is Russia attacking India? is China attacking Mongolia? why would it be assumed that any country would take up offensive action against Canada?

Now you're just being at best, stupid, and at worst, disingenuous. No one will ever attack Canada BECAUSE THEY KNOW THEY WOULD HAVE TO FIGHT THE US. Every single night of your life you've lain your head down to sleep, you've done so in peace guaranteed by the US. If you think that all of your resources would go un-coveted in the face of US apathy, you're smoking crack.

JD Vance explains the true nature of Canada's relationship to the United States, and that's one of a parasitic welfare state clinging to the American Empire with nothing substantial to offer. Free trade means free trade. It means zero tariffs. Yet, Canada tariffs virtually every product the US imports into the country. A military alliance means both countries contribute to the defense of their nations. Yet, Canada relies on American subsidies for their military and still relies on the United States to guard the Canadian Arctic. And in the end, how did Canada thank the United States for accepting lopsided trade agreements and billions in military protection? The Carney Liberals entered into a "strategic partnership" with China when Trump asked them to start carrying some of their own weight. It's absurd what Canadians think they can get away with. Elbows up is the battle cry of the terminally delusional; Canadians who believe they can keep ripping off their benefactor without ever bringing anything of value to the table. Oil and gas were our one redeeming quality. When we decided there was no "business case" for exporting our most valuable resource, that's when the American bill came due. You get what you pay for, Canada.
Gunther Eagleman™@GuntherEagleman

Vance just highlighted how Canada has SCREWED America for decades under weak leadership, which also explains exactly why Trump has done what he did. "Canada has taken advantage of the United States of America for far too long. And they've taken advantage of the United States in a couple of different ways."

@jasonjamesbnn There were no tariffs on US goods under the free trade deal. That is an outright lie. America just can't handle free market competition . That's how far your republic has fallen.

Thats not logic dude. Call Ukraine whatever makes you happy, they're the ones who have stepped forward and have continued to step forward. If that doesn't gain a degree of support, than everything else trump or you say about the Europeans is complete BS, because it really doesn't matter what anyone does

To be less of a smartass? You're right. You don't know. The US went beyond the terms of its NATO arrangement by protecting the country of Ukraine from Russia. It did so at an exorbitant cost to itself with absolutely no guarantee of any return on investment. We could fund a year of our current bombing pace against Iran and still not match the money we spent on Ukraine. Ukraine was not a member of NATO. We defended them almost as if they were. On the basis of the Europeans swearing that if we didn't stop Putin at Ukraine, then NATO countries would be next. We went above and beyond the terms of our agreement. At significant cost to ourselves. When the time came that we could have Europe assist us with a matter of convenience, restoring the perception that the Strait is open, we asked. A matter of convenience to the US. Our oil supply is assured. It's protected by the strongest fighting force in the history of mankind and it relies on nobody but ourselves. Oh, sure, we'd prefer to keep the prices down. But at the end of the day, it doesn't really matter if oil is more expensive or not for the short time it'll take to decimate Iran. Our convenience is a lot more existential to you. Your oil supply isn't assured. Much of it? Traverses the Strait of Hormuz. So we asked you to help yourselves. When your leaders declined, they sent the message that NATO is a totally nonviable alliance. Because a valuable ally would've recognized the limb we went out on for them, and they would've moved hell and high water to accommodate us in turn. They would've especially done so when the stakes for them are VASTLY higher than the stakes for us. But you either couldn't or wouldn't. In any event, it means this relationship simply isn't worth our time or money. And what happens to Europe is no longer of concern or interest to the United States.
Pascal-Emmanuel Gobry@pegobry_en

I don’t know, but I assume this is what happened: - Israeli/US intelligence presented Trump with the opportunity to do a decapitation strike against the leadership of the Iranian regime - It seemed like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and he went for it - He’s now finding out why countries don’t generally do this, which is that if you haven’t taken the time to build a coalition, you end up on your own - I supose it’s a lesson on tactics vs strategy. I sincerely hope that America is not learning the eternal lesson that no amount of tactical success can compensate for strategic error.

@bpardoe870 Friends? Like Ukraine? Who has assisted and supported the US war in Iran? So you now advocate for US support of Ukraine? no? then you are full of it. You're just advocating the same position you always took. The Strait of Hormuz is just a meaningless prop

When Europe panicked over the invasion of Ukraine, the US contributed $188 Billion, plus $66.9 Billion in hardware and military aid. That doesn't include intelligence and other support. When the US asked Europe if they wished to assist in the war in Iran, Europe said, "Not our illegal war." Ukraine wasn't ours either, but we at least showed up. I believe that the nations of the Middle East will remember who was there to protect them. Certainly, the US will remember who our friends truly are.

@MaximumK75753 @SuitablePolitic Has Ukraine helped us? Or are they just trying to pay us back for helping them? I do acknowledge that they have done more than almost anybody else (except Israel, obv) but it’s still not much. They get an A for effort. They make the rest of Europe look even worse in comparison.

Free rider syndrome — plain and simple. They’re happy to let America do the heavy lifting, but when it’s time to stand with us? Silence. We saw this in the 80s with Reagan — panic, protests, second-guessing. Now it’s happening again with Trump. Peace doesn’t come from weakness. It comes from strength.
