We are deeply saddened to learn of Cimo’s passing. Cimo’s love for trading card games was evident in everything he created. He helped bridge communities, championed the genre he loved, and introduced countless players to new games and experiences, including ours. TCGs are better because of the passion, kindness, and enthusiasm he shared for them. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and the many fans and creators who are grieving this loss.

The best-of system is kinda funny because when you win a best-of, you basically get access to the avatar state where you can DM the other best-ofs for your legend and they are basically just you from a different era.

Heard the news that Alex Cimo, a fellow card game YouTuber, has passed away. I did not know him. I can offer some math for those who did. People collectively spent about 4,232 years watching his videos. So 32 years is all he got, but he gave the world an extra 4,200 years of laughs, knowledge, and peace, one view at a time. That's one hell of a life.

I can’t believe my friend Alex is gone. I loved him so much, he was an inspiration, the greatest guy you could ever hope to have a chance to meet. He supported me through thick and thin, was always there for me when I needed him, I am beyond blessed to have gotten the chance to call this guy one of my best friends. Scalpers are bad and pokemon company should open all product seals when shipped to prevent this genuinely or find better anti methods

For my UX Master's I designed a Pokémon Centre queue that fights scalpers 🃏 Fans play a pack-opening mini game before a drop — mystery cards, multiple choice, 60 sec timer ⏱️ Wrong answers cost time. Best scores = best queue spots. Real fans win. Scalpers lose. 🎴
