Democrats: the South is becoming a Confederacy again.
The North:
Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
All states without any Republican House of Representatives. 21 seats.
I don’t want to hear a word from the Democrats about redistricting in the South.

Kamala won Massachusetts by 25 points
Trump won Tennessee by 30 points
Tennessee is more red than Massachusetts is blue
Yet Republicans have ZERO representation in MA while Democrats get a seat in TN.
How is this fair?

It's inconceivable that any political party that prides itself on being sophisticated and razor sharp would unleash a gerrymandering arms race against their opponents after losing 31 states to them in the 2024 election. But they did.

You can easily draw an 8-0 congressional map in Missouri where every district voted for Trump by at least 12 points. Republicans don't have to just settle for dismantling the Kansas City district. They can destroy the St. Louis one as well. With Callais no longer ensuring that Democrats get free Congressional seats based on race, there's no reason to keep this district intact any longer. All 8 of these districts have swung right since 2012, so there's very little risk of this turning into a dummymander.

@Lancegooden And yet somehow the Republicans will manage to split black voters in the South to ensure they never pick a single representative again 🤔 but I'm sure that's just a coincidence!

Today the Supreme Court ruled that racial discrimination in creating voting districts is indeed racial discrimination and you can't do it anymore. Leftists are outraged that they can't be racist when drawing their districts.
I'll put it another way, since I know they won't read the SCOTUS decision or the Voting Rights Act, before getting their undies in a wad and spouting the racist opinion they've been programmed to repeat. The SCOTUS decision said that using race to draw your districts, like Louisiana did when they said, 'Hey! We need another majority-black district!' is just as racist as if they had said, 'Hey! We need a another majority white district!' and you can't do it anymore.
If you disagree with this ruling, please either be logically consistent by equally defending a state's choosing to create majority-white districts (or majority-black districts, or majority-asian districts, or majority-latino districts) OR explain why we should be racist (treat races differently) in the way we draw districts, allowing them to be drawn with certain races in mind but not others. Explain why we should be looking at race AT ALL when it comes to drawing districts. I know what the Woke Left AND the Woke Right argument is for why we should be racists, but I'd like to hear someone make it and defend it in 2026.
