Question about teaching spelling:
My 9yo has A LOT of room to grow with his spelling.
How do you teach it at this age?
Context: He reads 600-800wpm at a couple years above grade level (with good comprehension).
The story I make up is he reads too fast to see the spelling.

We still need to dive into how it all works (constant difference), but nothing beats getting your students excited to know more about a mathematical idea.

I don't know how much of it was them playing along vs being truly mind blown, but it was still so much fun to hear them going, "But how does that work!" and "I can't wait to tell my grandpa when I see him this weekend!" #ElemMathChat
