Getting some progress on devlog #0! It's just dawning on me that a lot of the edits are bit ambitious for someone who only made 1 video... 5 months ago. I'll get through it eventually!
Also lesson learned- don't record 200+ takes and think "I'll just sort through it later"
This video from @toyful_games is soooooo good - it's a great example of a controller that takes all aspects of game feel and why it is important that it LOOKS and FEELS good to play!!!
Check it out here youtu.be/qdskE8PJy6Q
@GehrlsWilliam Thank you! I'm not quite sure when since university work has been making progress really slow, but as I continue working on it with my few remaining brain cells when I'm able it's bound to happen eventually!
Just got this in the post! An amazing way to finish off a horrible year.
(Best part was the UPS man seeing the YouTube logo on the box and asking how many subscribers this was for!)
Something else I've been working on recently for
@AriiHikari based loosely off a game avatar. Re-designed and concepted by me (drawn head references in comments!) Also is still very WIP. #3d#b3d#bnpr
@flogelz It's pretty awesome how long you stuck with the project and learned from it along the way! I really feel you on how difficult that decision must be (especially after so much commitment), but I can also tell you I'm hyped for what you tackle next!
That's why I thought of throwing together a small scene of most of the assets i made over the years. That way you guys could check them out too and take a look at them~
About the project itself, its hard for me to say this, but I'm probably not gonna continue working on it... I thought long and hard about this decision, but this is my conclusion. Maybe I'm gonna pick it up at some point, but I have no plans for atm. Making a thread out of this-
Cloudtop Bridge🍃🌁☁️
Finished the project and couldn't resist putting together a small video! I hope you'll like how the clouds turned out in the end ouo) b

@BrackeysTweet@unity3d I believe you overwhelmingly succeeded in making game dev more accessible to anyone and everyone!! Thank you for all the genuinely helpful videos over the years - I wish you all the best!!
@SamHGames I really enjoyed the video! What effect do you think adding some warped noise would do?
Also, I do like the newer thumbnail with more blocky lettering to emphasize the... uh... unblockyness! 👍
