@danielsgoldman Yet you have to have an I.d to even register to vote. Where I am at. Strange coincidence.

BREAKING: Per sources, Indiana coaching staff hacked into Oregon practice film and knew about all their scripted plays. Furthermore, it's possible Indiana has done this all year long. @CoachDanLanning what do you say?

@dtovitz That might just be the reason he didn’t win. Too damn cocky

@gman5180 And believe me America was ashamed of what you did as well.

@RonFilipkowski The same as offered by republicans weeks ago and the democrats voted no. Now they want to become the heroes by saying it was there plan

@ThePatriotOasis You do realize you just lost your job. Hope it was worth your deranged comments.

@Fernand46357857 And what the hell does that have to do with anything

@MicahBeckwith You need to do something. I am retired and probably will have to sell my house because I can’t afford to pay the taxes with all other costs to survive increasing as well.

I had a great conversation with Bloomington's developers and realtors about the future of property taxes in Indiana. I firmly believe it’s time for a bold change—homes should be taxed based on their purchase price, not guesswork by assessors. The current system just isn’t fair, and as I’ve said before, property taxes are immoral and need a complete overhaul or outright elimination. That’s why I support the idea of repealing property taxes and replacing them with a 7% sales tax on services.
I understand the concerns about local budgets and recent legislation (SEA 1) not going far enough. Indiana’s local communities are feeling the strain, and we need solutions that cut regulation without sacrificing county sovereignty. We’re 92 sovereign counties—Indianapolis shouldn’t dictate what happens locally.
Taxing homes on their purchase price wouldn’t just be fairer; it would encourage Hoosiers to put down roots, build wealth, and create stronger communities. Let’s make sure Indiana doesn’t go down the same path as California, where property tax law hurts mobility and housing.
I’m committed to standing up for taxpayers and making our tax system work for everyone. The fight isn’t easy, but together, we can make Indiana an example of bold leadership and responsible policy.
