I just completed 30 days of drawing every single day for the first time ever.
Everything i completed I posted in this thread so maybe people who are considering starting art can see what realistic progress you can make in a month.

Dokkans been dry so 5 days ago I picked up drawing and man ive genuinely never enjoyed a hobby faster. Wanted to share what I think is my best drawing so far and compare to my first drawing. Would appreciate any tips 🙏

@whoknowsbro1221 oh p.s. guidelines to map feature placement are awesome if you're inconsistent and characters end up with a left eye far too high or low relative to the other ones
eventually you're not gonna need all of this as you get accustomed to it but you need a stepping stone first

they'll make your life easier because simplifying things first helps make it easier
for ex circles are great for heads just build on top of them and you got a starting point for the head

you can tell by how pointy it is in the final corrections vs. the genga Kanno made (i think thats Kanno anyways)

@NPLNGS No matter what character. for some reason in shonen, every single female has an end game where they are a mother for some reason. Even ones where it doesn't fully seem like the narrative would have the head in that direction. feminists are rightfully skeptical of pronatalism

If that backstory doesn't scream trauma then idk what does. It may be a poor adaptation (I've never read the comics) but it's not flawed for the reasons you've listed fs lol

literally the ingredient listings just have a bunch of fancy names for natural sugars and vitamins😭 just because the list is long it doesn't automatically mean the product is full of artificial chemicals

in ed treatment once we had a group where we had an ingredient list of like 15-30 ingredients that were all just chemical sounding and we had to guess what the food was. no one did. it was broccoli. 🤗
