@NPLNGS I’ve been drawing Sukuna a lot for my fan comic and I can testify that drawing the big eyes is way more fun lol, but I think the smaller eyes are more realistic to how Sukuna’s condition really is

@prrumice I'm assuming that he's always wanted to make the eyes smaller given that specific color pages had them shrink back to normal, but I guess the bigger eyes were easier to draw during serialization? Not sure but it's an explanation

@prrumice Sukuna's mask has always been interesting to see evolve over time At the beginning of Shinjuku, the eyes were shaped normally, then he started to make the eyes MASSIVE, then once the manga ended he sorta walked back on it and turned it back small again

@Woodlandbuckle idk the dark detailing sucks on the left for me it's just the scene is being illuminated by a street light and yet the color is just black on darker black instead of the lighting being more pale the bloom kinda sucks but the lighting on the right works better for the scene idk

I haven't watched/read Bleach but I really prefer the original broadcast The DVD version has too much bloom and makes the art look muddy. Also not the biggest fan of the blue tint

@xelyuss dragon ball is one of the most deceptively difficult artstyles I've drawn for trying to apply my knowledge of feature placement I've used for other styles it's completely different for dragon ball The eyes are so hard to nail down properly for me lol

@IncroyableSauce Something that's also interesting (reach), is that the color of a pupil is actually caused by the emptiness inside of the eye, not because the pupil is physically black So the pupil's emptiness being the one to carve out Gojo's face in this panel here is peak visual storytelling

Its interesting how the function of the pupil is to constrict when there is a lot of light and enlarge when there isnt a lot of light. Gojo’s Six Eyes inherently make his pupil constantly restricted. His only bereavement is literally covering them in bandages or a blindfold. Just how his eyes filter molecular level information, his Infinity filters everything around him just as pupils filter light. Gojo is embodied by his eyes. His eyes drive everything about him. How he percieves the world, how the world percieves him, and filtering of interpersonal relationships. Gojo emotionally constricts, diluting ever so rarely (Geto, Yuji, Yuta etc). The best description of Gojo I could give is overworked, strained and mechanical. Like a perpetually constricted pupil.

ok i have a genuine question. does hana sleep with her wings and halo on?? we never saw her without her wings and halo, even after sukuna tore her wings it grew back slowly. i know its a stupid question but I'm genuinely very curious about her overall.
