The narratives in the report are harrowing. The impact on HTs MHWB is there in black & white. Over 300+ HTs have shared their views on what could change to make the accountability system less toxic. We will present this to OFSTED in a mtg with them tomorrow. 3/4

As an extensive network of school leaders with a focus on supporting them with their wellbeing, we have undertaken a survey of the HTs in our network & have spent time analysing & evaluating the survey results with support from @drkarenedge & her team at @IOE_London 2/4

@Headteacherchat I think I’m one of the lucky ones as I’ve never found the job lonely. My advice is to network and reach out to other heads in your LA. Joining @NewHTNetwork will help too as we are a group of heads who all started at similar times. Surround yourself with people doing the job.
