I don’t know that I’ve ever seen this before. The President of the Islamic Republic and the Speaker of Iran’s Parliament tweeted nearly identical statements within an hour of each other.

@MarioNawfal This may sound surprising to some but the key distinction here is Jews - Zionists. The two are not identical. There are Jews who are not Zionists and there are Zionists who are not Jews. Although, generally speaking, many, if not most, Jews are Zionists

@MarioNawfal The Jews in Iran go out of their way to be as Pro Regime as possible (at least publicly). The Jews in Iran stand with the regime's sentiment towards Israel. (Not that they have much of a choice.) If you understand that dynamic, your post comes of no surprise at all.

Splits in the Iranian leadership showing more cracks. Gahlibaf resigned from negotiations seeing as his hands were being tied by the IRGC. Meanwhile, Arkchi, until now seen as in line with Gahlibaf, seems to prefer maintaining his ties with IRGC. Tensions rise with the news. -N12

@MarioNawfal Well, Ghalibaf is out now. IRGC forced him out of being a negotiator. I guess he wasn't quite firm enough for them. Let's see who is next on deck...

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Iran's Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf just punched back at Trump's "Iran is fracturing" narrative. His message: Total loyalty to the Supreme Leader, and a promise the "criminal enemy" will regret its actions. Trump has been betting that internal pressure will break Tehran faster. Ghalibaf is the regime's answer to that: loud, public, and deliberate, or at least, what the regime wants to convey.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Trump told the Navy to "shoot and kill any boat" laying mines in the Strait of Hormuz. U.S. forces boarded the Majestic X in the Indian Ocean and are escorting the Iranian tanker Dorena after it tried to break the blockade. Iran hit 3 ships in the strait Wednesday and dragged two into Iranian waters. Shippers are now avoiding the strait entirely. Iran is already collecting tolls from the ones brave enough to risk it. Diplomats are pushing for a U.S.-Iran meeting as soon as Friday, but the cat-and-mouse at sea is making that a very hard sell. Source: WSJ

🚨🇺🇸 🇮🇱 Israel may be losing support from its closest allies faster than ever before. Fmr. Israeli PM Ehud Olmert says the current Israeli government is collapsing bipartisan support for them in the U.S. He argues that shift could have long-term consequences for Israel’s security. "The present government of Israel must be replaced. The sooner the better."
Mario Nawfal@MarioNawfal

🚨🇮🇱 🇱🇧 War crimes are being committed in southern Lebanon and they cannot be ignored. Fmr. Israeli PM Ehud Olmert says the recent viral footage of an IDF soldier breaking a Christ statue must be punished severely. He suggested acknowledging these failures is critical to maintaining Israel's international image.

@Osint613 It's very simple. The more level headed leaders are the ones speaking to Trump. The hardliners from IRGC won't have any peice of it, and they call the shots. Plain and simple. Seems part of Trump's agenda is to stoke the coals of this infighting...

I wish I understood what actually happened on Friday. Trump posted that Iran agreed to hand over all nuclear material, never close the Strait of Hormuz, end its nuclear program forever, and abandon its proxies. But Iran didn’t agree to any of it. We know that because they didn’t even agree to show up to talks. So what actually happened behind the scenes? Pakistan giving over wrong info?

@EYakoby It is Absolutely fractured. Question is, will trump be able to leverage this in an effective way. Doesn't seem he is too excited about restarting bombing campaign and not clear that would even help. Troops in Iran doesnt seem likely. What else can he do? Hopefully he has a plan..

BREAKING: Iran is fully split between its negotiators and the army and Revolutionary Guards, which is why they are unable to reach a decision on Trump’s proposal. The regime is completely fractured.

@MarioNawfal Absolutely an indicater. Yet at the same time it could just be part of a psy-op. Nonetheless considering that I don't see any way of Iran coming up with a Unified proposal given the internal fractions, renewed strikes seem like a high possibility. This is the unfortunate reality.

Iran’s President: “The Islamic Republic of Iran has always welcomed and continues to welcome dialogue and agreement. Bad faith, siege, and threats are the main obstacles to genuine negotiation. The world is witnessing your hypocritical, empty talk and the contradiction between your claims and your actions.”

@MarioNawfal Note that this was not an official public statement from Trump. Which by definition leaves room for an already "flexible" deadline mechanism. On the other hand it aligns with estimated arrival of the Bush Air Craft Carrier to the region. Which brings it up to 3 Air Craft Carriers

N12 reports Trump’s ceasefire extension expires Sunday. Notice Trump did not make an official statement as such, but also notice that it seems to align with a 3rd US aircraft carrier's arrival to the Middle East, namley the USS Bush. Tensions are rising as the deadline nears.

@MarioNawfal "To start shooting" Mario, seems like your buying right into their propaganda. The chances of then to be the ones to start shooting are laughable. They know how to talk. But they do not want another round of being hammered...

🚨🇮🇷 Ghalibaf's personal advisor calls Trump's ceasefire extension "a ploy to buy time for a surprise strike" and says "the time for Iran to take the initiative has come." "The losing side cannot dictate terms. The continuation of the siege must be met with a military response." This is the advisor to the man leading Iran's negotiating delegation calling for war. Not the IRGC. Not some anonymous hardliner. If Ghalibaf's own circle is calling the ceasefire a trap and demanding military action, the internal fracture Trump just acknowledged is even deeper than it appeared. The moderates aren't just fighting the IRGC for control of Iran's position. They're fighting their own teams. Trump extended the ceasefire to give Iran time to "come up with a unified proposal." Statements like this are proof of exactly why they need it. Iran's government isn't debating terms with America right now. It's debating with itself whether to keep talking or start shooting.

🇺🇸🇮🇱🇮🇷 The U.S. just pulled ambassador Mike Huckabee from Israel into urgent talks. He was called to Washington as tensions with Iran rise again. Closed-door discussions at the White House. Something bigger is being negotiated behind the scenes. Source: N12
