We're supposed to have 13 months in a year, 28 days exactly with one day of renewal. Keep in mind women's periods are 28 days, the ocean tides are 28 days, and the moon cycle is 28 days. That's why we call it a month, because the cycles were originally derived from the moon (s). All of this was changed to make us out of sync with the moon & stars and also hide our history. ✨🙌🏾💫 © electric_being

@GeraldoRivera I agree. Make it a free public good benefit. But with that “free” comes the stipulations: proof of citizenship, national database to prevent duplicate IDs being issued in multiple states, REAL ID compliant (no issuing IDs to non-citizens; that should be solely the job of USCIS).

Should car insurance give money back at the end of the year if you haven’t had any accidents??

Just why. Everybody knows in the 24th century, medicine has solved paraplegia. Or else we would have seen wheelchairs in TNG. But we didn’t. Because they didn’t have a quota to hit. Lo and behold, the first wheelchair (to my knowledge) appears in ST:SFA and now it’s the poster for the next series. Gtfowtn.

@tbarty03 @james_xond This is why I like USAA. Pay out the clams, cover the operating expenses and investments, and then return the remaining balance(-ish) to the members.

@james_xond If insurance companies gave you money back, how could they pay for the accidents for other people? You really don’t understand how insurance companies operate, do you?

New York Gov Kathy Hochul is begging wealthy people who have moved to Florida and Texas to come back to New York and pay taxes. 🤣 "I need people who are high net worth to support the generous social programs that we want to have in our state. Now, there are some patriotic millionaires who stepped up. OK, cut me the checks if you want to be supportive, but maybe the first step should be go down to Palm Beach and see who you can bring back home." "I have to look at the fact that we are in competition with other states who have less of a tax burden on their corporations and their individuals. And I would say remote work changed everything." "There were people who could only work in an office in Manhattan and work in New York state. And they were captives to our state, they were going to stay. We saw that that's not the case. Wall Street businesses looking at Texas, they're not going there because they have a nicer governor. They're going there because of the tax rate."

@tomselliott Unfortunately, those private screeners are still required to follow TSA procedures; the only difference is in who signs their paychecks. Ultimately, the answer is to repeal that law altogether.

Reminder: The law creating the TSA includes a provision allowing airports to opt out & run their own security. Which, after 25 years of TSA failure & constantly being at the mercy of congressional psychodrama, is what they should all be doing right about now

Handheld radio, powered by Starlink... L3Harris has unveiled the XL-300P, the first P25 land mobile radio with native 5G and satellite direct-to-device (D2D) connectivity. It will support Starlink via T-Mobile's "T-Satellite" service, it guarantees first responders ultimate triple-layered redundancy (P25, cellular, satellite) so they never lose critical communications.

Renewing my US Passport. The old design (on the right) is full of color and civic pride. The new one (left) is just transparently a sad little zogpass.
