This is NOT a DEAL. But a Memorandum Of Understanding towards a deal. Here's what is happening now: The Strait Of Hormuz will reopen, controlled by Iran. The U.S. will completely lift it's Navy blockade. Iran will receive monetary compensation. Through lifting of some sanctions or through various Gulf countries. No leadership change. The Islamic Republic of Iran is still standing. Thus far, Iran won this war.

Israel flattened Beirut in 1982. No Hamas. No Hezbollah. No October 7 to point to then. Just 17,000 dead Lebanese and Palestinian civilians. Even US president then Ronald Reagan, who armed Israel, called Begin furious after seeing a photo of a 7-month-old baby with its arms blown off and said “It is a holocaust”. They killed so many innocent people that the survivors had no choice but to pick up weapons. Then Israel had the audacity to keep using “Self-Defense” excuse every decade. Israel didn’t stumble into endless war. Israel built it. Brick by brick. Own it.

A side point (which really is a major point): I'm following with great interest the internal debate in Iran, and once again I am filled with admiration for this society. Their nation faces a historic choice, and everything is on the line, but they talk to each other with arguments and respect, and love. There is no panic, there is beautiful freedom of expression, and the country is not divided in the least. They know they are in this together, and have to be there for each other, and they are such a highly educated, literate and well-developed society and culture in every way. I'm admiring you. Stay strong. Iran will not lose

The US cannot change the regime in Iran. It cannot invade the country. It cannot open Hormuz via military means. It cannot even sustain the blockade of Hormuz for a long time. But most importantly, it cannot rein in Israel. Meanwhile, Iran should have enough funds, from high oil prices and partial sanction waivers, to sustain hostilities for at least another six months. The US cannot wait six more months. In July, low oil reserves will trigger a shock in the global economy, and beyond the markets and the US own economic problems, US allies will come to loath the US even more, accelerating the US standing in the world and its decline. Remind me, why did Trump start this war? For Israel, we are told, as per the US own official justification. How stupid.

معلومة قيام دولة ما بقتل مفاوضين الجهة الأخرى ليس اختراعا إسرائيليا، سبق أن فعلته أمريكا بالحرب الكورية 1950 - 1953 بقصف مقر مفاوضين الجيشين الصيني والكوري الشمالي في أغسطس 1951.. نجا المفاوضون من الاغتيال فتوقفت المفاوضات 3 شهور، زي اللي بيحصل دلوقتي بالضبط كانت الحرب الكورية شبيهة بالحرب على #ايران من حيث العنف الكبير والانقطاعات والهُدَن المختلفة والمفاوضات، الحرب كانت عبارة عن ( كر وفر) شوية الصين وكوريا الشمالية يسيطروا على سيول، وشوية أمريكا وكوريا الجنوبية يسيطروا على بيونج يانج، وكل مرة يقوم التحالف بطرد التحالف الآخر، واستمرت الحرب على هذه الوتيرة حتى شعرت أمريكا باستحالة إنجاز أي شئ جديد فوافقت على وقف إطلاق النار وترسيم الحدود.. يبدو أن العدوان على إيران يسير بنفس السياق حرب طويلة قد تمتد لسنوات، نظرا لضعف الوسطاء والنظام الدولي من جهة، وتعقيد الحرب دينيا وسياسيا واقتصاديا وجغرافيا من جهة، واللي بيحصل لا يعدو كونه فصلا من الفصول.. في الحرب الكورية كانت تصر أمريكا على شروط (غير معقولة) على الصين وحليفتها، لكن الصين وكوريا الشمالية رفضوا، فحدثت أقوى معارك الحرب وهي "معركة تل المثلث" في 14 أكتوبر 1952 واللي مات فيها حوالي 25 ألف جندي أمريكي. هنا فقط أمريكا اقتنعت إن الحرب مش سهلة ولا يمكن تحقيق أي شئ فيها، فوافقت على شروط الصين لوقف الحرب. هذه المعركة ضد إيران تسير بنفس الوتيرة، ويبدو أننا بحاجة لمعركة كبرى شبيهة "بمعركة تل المثلث" علشان الحرب تقف نهائيا، ويتوقف جنون واستفزاز نتنياهو اللي بقى عامل زي لعب الأطفال ونقضه للاتفاقات أكثر من 60 مرة.. تصوري لو انتقلت حرب إيران لنفس النموذج فسيكون هجوم بري أمريكي على الجزر الإيرانية في الخليج، أو محاولة اجتياج ساحل إيران، وقتها هتدور معارك أشرس وتتكرر الهزيمة الأمريكية اللي حصلت في الحرب الكورية..ووقتها مش هايقدر نتنياهو يصعد أو يملك مفاتيح التصعيد، لأنه هيكون خايف على نفسه وهيمشي جنب الحيط لسبب وحيد، إن البلطجي اللي بيحميه بقى ( متعور وراقد في السرير) Image Made With AI

A war with Iran will be the nail in the coffin for Republicans in 2028. Iran doesn’t have the ability to harm the United States and the only reason they’re seeking nuclear arms is because Israel (who already had them first) has overthrown all of its neighbors in cahoots with the Clean Break doctrine, in which Israel originally set out to topple 7 countries in 5 years, and to this day Iran is the last of those countries yet to be overthrown. Nothing about this is America First, it’s quite the opposite because you’re putting a foreign nation (Israel) before the American people. JD Vance is going to have a hard time explaining why his predecessor covered up the Epstein files, left the country with $41T + in debt, and went to war with Iran. الانتقال من خطاب "تدمير إيران" إلى "اتفاق على الطاولة" أمريكياً لم يأتِ من فراغ. الشروط الإيرانية التي تم الاتفاق عليها مبدئياً في السابق لم تتح لترامب الخروج بصورة نصر، لذلك وبعد الاتفاق المبدئي، تراجع عنها وأرسل تعديلاته إلى طهران عبر الوسطاء. ولم تردَّ عليه إيران، بل أبقته في حالة تريُّث وانتظار طيلة الأيام الماضية، بل وأظهرت له الجهوزية لاستئناف الحرب بضرب إسرائيل أولاً وإسقاط الأباجي ثانياً—لتقول له في إشاراتها: إنك لا تستطيع تغيير واقع فشلك العسكري بالمراوحة. لذلك، حاول الضغط عليها عسكرياً بالتزامن مع وجود الوسطاء في طهران، فردت عليه طهران في ليلتَي التصعيد بضرب ضعف الأهداف التي ضربها في إيران. وبهذا فقد الأمل في حمل طهران على القبول بما يريد. أما الإعلان عن اتفاق بعد كل ذلك، فهو إعلان عن التراجع إلى ما اتُّفِق عليه سابقاً، وهو ترجمة دبلوماسية لفشله العسكري قبل كل شيء. إن وُقِّع الاتفاق الإطاري بالفعل—فنحن إزاء بداية حقبة جديدة في إيران والمنطقة. وهذا يُخيف البعض ويُفرح آخرين في المنطقة، إذ يُبدي الخاسر والرابح بوضوح. وللحديث تتمّة في الأيام القادمة.
