I told you this guy @DrSanjivGoenka owner of @LucknowIPL is a complete looser and joker of the highest order - i am seriously embarrassed with his behaviour. I created the @IPL for fans and players alike. Not for this to happen every time every year. If I was still Chairman and commissioner I would have BANNED him immediately and made him forfeit his ownership of the team for ever. He is a complete pompous clown. There is a clause in the franchise agreement for this exact issue. #bcci implement it - keep integrity above all - sucking up to powers that be is not the way to allow him to get away. Fans and players alike will remember.

@Notepaid I agree. But the same hip hop lingo is looked down upon by the whites since it's black music. But it's popular here in urban circles. Same for footy- it's massy sport, but on the surface it looks like only desi urban niggas like it.. tho it's played here in dehat significantly

My only problem with this is the guy who's playing ravan is also one of the producers & he's trying to be the 2nd hero. Ramayan is all abt Ram Making it like LOTR is ok since they are trying to get Western crowd. Something of this scale puts on India on map & it was long overdue

@trex770 Had to look up who Ravi Dubey is. I think even Kartina's husband would have been a better Ram. Ranbir Kapoor only looks good as a bade baap ki aulaad actor. Doesn't remotely match the vibe.

@Notepaid I agree with the anime part. But then it would have been just another anime bit on ramayana which are already available. Plus a new face wouldn't have given the film as many eyeballs as Ranbir would. Ravi Dubey is playing Laxman which is good, but for Ram you needed a big star

@trex770 Such epics are better shown as an anime. Like the Jap version and the latest Netflix one. But if it had to be made like this, maybe they should have found a new face so that it would be easy to associate (like Nitish Bharadwaj as Krishna or Samar Jai Singh as Shiv)

@Notepaid But who's better than him? The film needed a big star who could also act. Can't see anyone except him. Nigga is tall too with a calm face. Daityas have a LOTR feel because they are trying to pander to West too, and hence will get IMAX screens in the west probably.
