@PierrePoilievre You’ll never form gov't if you continue the slogans & constant criticism without offering solutions. If you really feel canada is broken & requires fixing, say how you're going to do it! You told the public mere days ago that you will learn and grow. Doesn't look like it, yet.

Today's Cabinet proves Liberals offer more of the same: more inflation, more costly housing, more crime and drugs. Conservatives will hold them to account, while pushing solutions to give people back their lives and country.

@PierrePoilievre I didn’t vote for you—and I never will. Your continued leadership only strengthens support for Carney, which works just fine for me. Understand this: many people are backing Carney because of opposition to YOU. Your continued presence as leader will not help the Conservatives.

It is with humility and appreciation that I have accepted Damien Kurek’s offer to resign his seat in Battle River-Crowfoot so that I can work to earn the support of citizens there to serve them in Parliament. Damien’s selfless act to step aside temporarily as a Member of Parliament shows his commitment to change and restoring Canada’s promise. I will work to earn the trust of the good people of Battle River-Crowfoot and I will continue to hold the Liberal minority government to account until the next federal election, when we will bring real change to all Canadians.

@CBCNews Dear Conservatives- this election was yours, but Pierre turned off too many people. Poll results show majority support for Conservatives if the leader was not a factor. Time to do a leadership review and elect a likeable leader.

Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre has been on the phone with caucus members and party supporters in the hours since the election, trying to shore up his position after he delivered uneven results, Conservative sources told CBC News. cbc.ca/news/politics/…

@CBCNews You have no idea how much I’ve missed my plastic grocery bags. They got used over and over and over again. I have 2 plastic straws that I saved and use over and over again. I loathe those paper cardboard things that make every drink taste like paper.

@ABDanielleSmith @MarkJCarney I want a sound economy with my rights. I want a leader who uses the legislative process to make changes, not use the notwithstanding clause. Pierre doesn't fit that description. If you can't put Canadians first, take your kickbacks and skedaddle

So it would appear @MarkJCarney is now just fine with Canada continuing to be 100% reliant on the United States to purchase all of our oil and gas, and to purchase all of the fuel used by Ontario and Quebec from the U.S. through Line 5. This is absurd, irrational and anti-Canadian in every respect. It’s also the exact opposite of what he promised while in Alberta a couple of weeks ago. Does he want Canada to be strong, prosperous and independent or not?

@PierrePoilievre Why won't Pierre get his security clearance? Is it because he has something to hide? Is it because there was interference during the conservative leadership race? If Pierre wins, Canada loses.

Why won't Mark Carney reveal all his conflicts to Canadians? Is it because he owes a hostile foreign regime? Is it because his interests are against Canada's interests? If Carney wins, Canada loses: conservative.ca/cpc/expose-car…

The new Prime Minister and his new Environment Minister are disagreeing publicly right now on how to impose a production cap on Alberta, but regardless of what they decide: it’s not happening. Alberta will never allow Ottawa to cap our energy industry or the wealth it generates for Albertans. Here is our government’s full statement: alberta.ca/release.cfm?xI…

Last night, President Donald Trump endorsed Mark Carney. Why? Because, as Trump said, he’s “easier” to deal with, and knows that I will be a tough negotiator and always put Canada First. Carney is weak and would cave to Trump’s demands, just like he did when he moved his company headquarters from Canada to New York City. Canadians don’t want a weak and conflicted leader. They want a strong Prime Minister who will put Canada First.

Yet another month of inflation above target as Liberal spending and taxes continue to boost costs for Canadians. After a lost Liberal decade of overspending, tax hikes and rising costs, it’s time for a change.

@LisaBarrettID Nowhere did she suggest that those that pose a danger roam free. She's asking us to consider how a 19yo with no fixed address ended up here. If we understood better, with the right supports, maybe this wouldn't have happened in the first place.

I have so much sympathy, empathy, sadness and worry for the little 6 yr old who was so harmed in Halifax yesterday, as well as their family…..beyond words. But, people need to think. A punitive reactive statement suggesting the person performing the violent act must be locked behind bars for public safety is a cop out.

I understand that the original proposed changes came out of a scan that looked to modernize the Office by looking at best practices around Canada. This scan identified a variety of practices used across the country. There was never any intention on my part to change the existing Auditor General. After discussions with the Nova Scotia Auditor General and her team, I am no longer supporting the proposed amendments. This afternoon I asked the Legislature to withdraw them. Sometimes things become something that they weren’t intended to be and I believe this is the case with the Auditor General related amendments. I have nothing but respect for the Auditor General and look forward to continuing our working relationship. This is why we’ve increased funding for that office in this year’s budget. As always, we remain focused on what is in the best interests of Nova Scotians and believe an open and accountable government is part of that.

Yesterday, I joined my fellow Premiers to address the looming threat of U.S. tariffs. Together, we are united in protecting our economy and, most importantly, the hardworking families who could be affected. I will do everything in my power to stand up for Nova Scotians and fellow Canadians.

Tapper: President-Elect Trump has been talking about making Canada the 51st state.  Trudeau: That's not going to happen. Canadians are incredibly proud of being Canadian. One of the ways we define ourselves most easily is, well, we're not American.

NDP-Liberals created a housing hell on earth. In 9 years, their out-of-control immigration, money printing & bureaucracy blocking home building have doubled housing costs. Common sense Conservatives will reverse these policies, fix immigration, slash bureaucracy and axe housing taxes to build the homes.
