AFL website is reporting that Lachie Bramble has secured a contract extension that will take him through to the end of 2028. He has been a great pick up in the pre-season of 2024. He has played 53 consecutive games since then. Well deserved extension for Lachie.

@Kosdan @MattDonald22 He's getting through some significant training sessions including match sims and match scenarios so he must be close. It appears like he's just copping some knocks and minor setbacks. It must be frustrating for the player.

Still no Laitham Vandermeer, who continues to remain absent. Vandermeer has not played since sustaining a concussion on March 6, the day before Arty Jones sustained his own concussion in the Harris Andrews incident.

@FOXFOOTY @GerardWhateley Gather round is great but it can be improved. Fix the support grounds and build some additional accommodation to help reduce the costs for visitors. The AFL need to make this a condition on a longer term commitment.

I interviewed Luke Darcy, Ameet Bains & Jordan Croft in their President's Function pre-game, and all spoke of that being the #1 focus over the summer. They know they have the firepower to kick winning scores. Their next step is to make the scores they NEED to kick smaller.
