@Legende_f1 @sentdefender @CENTCOM This was in response to a completely separate claim made a day ago by the IRGC which was in fact, false. Not about the ongoing situation happening right now, David.

Following the announcement by the IRGC, accompanied by a questionable video, claiming to have shot down a fighter jet, U.S. Central Command has announced that these reports are false, saying that “all U.S. fighter jets are accounted for.”

They do. They’re called PLBs or personal locator beacons. You pop it and it automatically spins up CSAR teams assigned to your area of responsibility. However, the beacons work on open GPS signals and essentially ring the dinner bell for IRGC forces. Typically the pilot will wait to see the CSAR aircraft in their vicinity, THEN activate it so it reduces the time of exposure

@sentdefender I have a random question maybe you can answer @sentdefender - why don’t the pilots of advanced tracking devices on their person when they are in war zones? Seems like an easy thing to do and would help mitigate rescue efforts

Not sure that turns sentiment against the government but ok. Iran smoked 30k of their own unarmed civilians recently, so not entirely sure why you’re so concerned about what the sentiment is towards the US government and not the government of Iran who paid militant groups from different countries to come in and shot their own citizens. Especially residing in the Netherlands. Is it because you hate Trump so much you want other people to die in hopes that makes other people hate trump as well?

Law enforcement, military vet with combat deployments here. While I respect your service and opinion, here are some facts, and things to consider from a legal standpoint: firing two shots out of your car while someone is in the act of committing assault and battery on you is not indiscriminate. Just because I bystander as hit, does not automatically he was reckless in his use of a firearm. Knowing your backdrop, situational awareness, finger off trigger, etc can all help REDUCE situations like this but when a round hits something, it tends to do funny things. Not to mention over penetration. For all we know the round hit kids arm, then hit bystander and second round missed everything. I’ve seen rounds enter the chest, bounce off the scapula (shoulder blade), and exit out up by the neck, but because that possibility exists doesn’t mean you shouldn’t shoot someone in self defense. This persons response was reasonable in duration and magnitude. You don’t know if the kids are armed or not, you can only ASSUME they are or not. Difference if you hear gunshots in a large group of people and begin returning fire with your concealed pistol randomly into the crowd striking multiple people. THATS reckless. Having stress training or being a combat veteran are not requirements for carrying concealed. Accidents happen

@KimKatieUSA I have no problem with stand your ground laws, every state should have them, but he recklessly fired hitting someone passing by and needs to be held accountable for that. Stand your ground doesn’t mean you get to shoot innocent bystanders because you’re reckless or a lousy shot

ICYMI Fort Wayne, Indiana A road rage encounter turned violent when 19-year-old Alex Mozee stepped out of his car, smashed Jason Henkle’s driver-side window, and punched him in the head. Feeling threatened, Henkle drew his handgun and fired several shots. He hit Mozee in the arm, but one round also struck an innocent bystander who was driving past in the left lane. Henkle was originally charged with criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, while Mozee faced a misdemeanor battery charge. Allen Superior Court has now dropped all charges against Henkle, citing Indiana’s Stand Your Ground law.

@sentdefender In its latest pixelated dispatch, the White House presents a blurred homage to JD Vance, where the loss of definition feels less like an aesthetic choice than a quiet metaphor for his studied, almost devotional deference to Donald Trump.

We also let a man run a country (either as himself or as a political puppet, not sure which one’s worse) when he should’ve realistically been in a nursing home, so what’s your point? And if you think “someone in charge” posts the White House X feeds then I don’t know what to tell you. Regardless of what you think of this administration, interns or whatever public affairs officer is in charge of the White House account is at fault.

AI scrapes news sources and public information from the internet. AI also supplied 21 different sources it pulled from. Would you like me to list all 21 sources? Or is this one of those situations where you insist that you know more than any of us and you’re right no matter what facts and sources say?

So is enough information to identify you and your location on the internet, would that make it ok if someone was trying to doxx you, and I gathered as much information I could find about you and gave it all to them in a nice neat package? We could be potentially doxxing thousands of lives. I get there’s plenty of ways to access this information, I’m saying, why make it easier? Or even more known? Sometimes ADS-Bs and flight paths are public while transiting US airspace because the priority is to avoid collisions with commercial air travel, which in that moment is prioritized over operational secrecy. I get it might not directly violate OPSEC for civilians, but military are taught, even if it’s in the public domain doesn’t mean it’s ok to talk about or share randomly. Everyone here only has one perspective to look at it from…the civilian side. I’m just trying to provide the other perspective.

Agreed. I’m not going to sit here and argue with any of them. They just want all the tea and gossip. My point was, in the military world, even if this can all be found in the public domain, military members would get absolutely hemmed up for discussing this stuff. If any of these people in the comments had someone trying to actively kill them, and I went out and collected as much info on them as I could from the internet, then posted all the info I found in one place they’d cry foul, but its ok to do that with thousands of military lives, as long as its not their own

Oh ok, since we are now armed with this public information thanks to this X account, let’s all go stop it from happening then, otherwise their hard work to find the information will be for nothing. I’m sure all of us on X can stop this regional war with this information, right? Nobody’s going to do fuck all with this information. GTFO
