First major outage in the ~7 years we’ve been partnering with Hologram. It seems a full resolution of the upstream issue is close. status.hologram.io

OVMS maintenance, 2023-08-20 between 00:30 and 09:00 UTC. Expect issues access OVMS services on *.openvehicles.com during that time. We will try to limit disruption, but some impact is inevitable.

All services have been restored, and tested ok.

Scheduled maintenance on ovms server. Expect to be unavailable for an hour or so.

Main OVMS server reboot now, after software updates. Expect about 5 mins of downtime. Hopefully less.

@dennis_p @cynicswiss @Tesla @markwebbjohnson Our monitoring showed two partial connectivity outages 2021-12-13 14:33 (lasting up to an hour) and 15:41 (about 9 minutes). Seems stable since then. I think likely some random Internet issues.

Not sure if it’s our account or if @OpenVehicles server is down, but car was charging & I saw consumption on @Tesla #PowerWall2 #EnergyGateway to assure me that car was charging. Posted query on forum & hope @markwebbjohnson or someone from HK Team can address in their morning

Firmware 3.2.018 has been released to all OVMS users. Thanks to all the open source developers who contributed to this. The plan is for this to be the last 3.2.x firmware version, as we finalise the upcoming v3.3 release supporting 4G hardware.

@dennis_p @Tesla Thanks to @tomsaxton for the CTP algorithm for the Tesla roadster. No, not Chocolate Tea Pot; but Charge Time Predictor.

Calculating the charging rate on a @Tesla #Roadster is not an exact science. @OpenVehicles (the 3rd party telematics app built by enthusiasts for Roadster and now for other EVs) calculation is dynamic, so 15 more minutes on Off Peak isn't going to break 🐖 🏦. 😜. 🔌⚡🔋🏎️
