@SELKGrassroots @junctionelitefc Agreed! Players need better protection in place than they currently have and we can provide as much as they want to have. They just need to make the decision to get started BEFORE they get injured!

@SELKGrassroots @junctionelitefc Insurance IS mandatory. Clubs all have to have a minimum level of cover. The number of Go Fund Me campaigns surely mean that this mandatory minimum is not enough! The question is what do people want to do about it? Take action with a company like us, or just hope for the best? 😩

@SELKGrassroots @junctionelitefc Meaningful cover starts from just £15 per month! This is less than they spend on their phone bill, take away, coffee, gym membership and even club fines for some! The cost of an ACL reconstruction will typically be comfortably more than £10k! Go Fund Me’s are NOT the answer!!

Update on brad.
Manipulation hasn’t worked properly so likely going to do it again when the registrar comes in, in the next hour or so. Then got to wait for the consultant to try and get him in for surgery today or tomorrow. Dr thinks that he is going to have a rod and screws in.
