There’s this loud, tribalistic APC supporter who comes to play football with us every Saturday morning. Even if the world is on fire and the person responsible is an APC member, this guy will still defend him.
Today, he got injured while we were playing and he was bleeding through his nose. I was holding a can of water. Everyone kept begging me to give it to him, but the way I bluntly shouted, “I no dey give am,” shocked them all. They started asking if we had issues before.
But honestly, it’s his constant nonsense arguments that get to me. This guy stood in front of me one day and said, “Anyone not making money in Nigeria right now is just lazy. If you put in work, money go show”
I wan mad that day!
