Someone asked me an interesting question today, I figured I'd bring to the timeline: Who was Trent Baalke’s best draft pick, not selected in the 1st round? (years: 2021-2024) I have my opinion, but I can see this going a few different ways for #Jaguars fans... 🤔

Tuten hasn't shown same receiving chops I think Coen is trying to duplicate TB 3 RB by committee. But Gladstone's only FA pickup in CRod getting hurt isn't a great start. Time will tell.

@PalmTreeSki @kashan_fie90183 @RotoSurgeon The center played basically every snap and was by all accounts a large part of the success. Meyers was traded for mid season and had a great impact. He signed Jordan Lewis who was pretty much the best DB on the team last season. Lol. But go off king

@ItsIanDee Fair take. Have a decent chance to win Div again But w/ a 1st place schedule, playing Chi & Den + AFC N + NFC E & Colts twice where Daniel Jones isn't injured I think 13-4 is unrealistic. Can't afford any DL injuries.

I mean, I understand the armstead stuff. Absolutely. But there is absolutely nothing to say Regis and ruke can’t develop into good players. Every single position I feel like they have done a great job of creating depth so this situation doesn’t happen. Unfortunately, they can’t do it to every single position. You would hope that having one of the better edge rusher groups in the NFL could create enough pressure to disrupt games, and they have done that in the past. It didn’t help that Travon was injured. It didn’t help that the opposing QBs threw the ball insanely fast because the secondary wasn’t good due to injuries. I do think the unit can be better because through the first 5 weeks before Travon was hurt, the unit was actually a top 10 unit. That is a fact. It’s not absurd to have them run that back.

It is extremely understated that BTJ, Arik Armstead and Travon Walker played the majority of the season hurt. And we lost Travis hunter and Jourdan Lewis, our 2 best corners. They still managed to go 13-4.

@Mtyv2i @RotoSurgeon 13-4 wasn't b/c of Gladstone. It was b/c of Baalke's players (Lawrence Etienne Walker Lloyd Olu Harrison Cleveland BTJ P Washington Johnson Strange et al) & Coens coaching. Yes Gladstone brought in Meyers (good), but only b/c of $10M mistake signing Dyami in first place.
