The incident is from Bangalore. A dog simply urinated on a public road, and the owner was met with abuse, classist remarks, and deeply dehumanising language from an elderly couple.
They kept demanding that he should “take the pee inside his house,” compared dog owners to beggars, insulted people who beg and those forced to sleep on footpaths, and even claimed the public road was “theirs.”
This was not about hygiene. It was about arrogance, cruelty, and humiliation of both animals and vulnerable people.
