@PlayPowerto @jchidleyhill I think the only technical solution would be for FitrWoman to develop a method for anonymizing user data or encrypting it to the point that they could not be forced to share it in a way that could be used to directly connect to a person's legal name or other possible evidence.

@flamesprite @jchidleyhill Valid concern. FitrWoman was developed with one of the world's experts - Dr Georgie Bruinvel. And was used by the USWNT to train for 2019 WC. Does not sell data and other apps vow not to sell either. But still a concern if govt can compel for data.

@jchidleyhill Well that does probably lower the likelihood that the app company would feel compelled to comply with a request from US law enforcement. But it would definitely be something they should consider mentioning in their FAQ to reassure US athletes, to acknowledge the issue.
