Finished! Eduard's 1/48 Hellcat in FAA colours. I have tried my best to get across that dusty war weary look of these aircraft. I refined some techniques from the bf109 I did and also some new ones including dust effects and using oils as part of exhaust staining. #jffcat

Well… still feels downright wrong to see the super clipping BUT that was more entertaining than 75% of last seasons races.

@WeldBoy13 Just watched it, I taped it. That was actually a really good race! I'm a multi driver fan haha I root for Max, Alonso, Bottas, Hulk, Occon, Gasly, Leclerc and Lewis! When they're racing against each other I root for the current underdog! Haha

@Point50PB Yeah I still think F1 should chase faster lap times every year above anything else. I’m just hoping we can get some excitement tomorrow in exchange for all this unneeded complexity before I judge tooooo hard 😁 Who you rooting for?

Is the new F1 rule set a bit of the opposite of what racing should be? Yes. Should we atleast wait to see how the race goes before we get all judgy? Also yes 👍 #AustraliaGP

@WeldBoy13 Yeah true, but it did take years 😔 I can't believe the difference in times compared to the old cars though. Its very noticeable on TV. I'm just hoping the size of the cars etc and the different deployment tactics means some crazy exciting racing!

@Point50PB Fingers crossed, the last severe rule change took a few years to improve too but in the end we did get some decent racing atleast.

@WeldBoy13 And mismanagement of battery levels etc or the insane situation Max had! I'm just hoping teething issues are resolved within the season and that maybe before then some of the allowable energy recovery rates etc are increased.

Really looking forward to this one. Played the hell out of the WW2 one. As I become an older gamer, turn based games seem easier to control and play then the RTS type of games. Love them both, just easier to think and move.

@Magnum9846 Yeah I'll definitely leave it a bit. I have a lot of early access games on my wishlist but most I think I'll leave until they're actually released. There seem to be so many games that never leave early access.

@Point50PB I'd wait a week or two... dudes putting out like 2 or 3 patches a day. Kinda cool but also kinda annoying. lol Great game, a lot of content already but still many little issues.

Rise of Piracy is out on Steam via Early Access. It's developed by one man and published my Microprose. It's not a AAA game but it is a very good game, worth checking out for 15 bucks if interested in this type of game.

@Magnum9846 Ah I was fearing that. I've bought a few like that recently, fun for 5 minutes and then you think about all the improvements in modern games. I guess we should leave the past in the last but we're all sucked for nostalgia haha

@Point50PB Ya, it works and it was a fun trip down memory lane. But after 4 missions I am already getting bored of it... just too many better, modern options IMO. But it all depends on how much you love old school games. lol

Well, that's disappointing. F-22: Air Dominance Fighter was just released and even thou I went through the setup, can't get my stick working. Only thing this game did is make me miss the Janes Combat Simulations days...

@Magnum9846 Let us know how the game is, I've wishlisted this and hope it's good. Sooooo many great ganes coming out at the moment I can't keep up haha
