* IMPORTANT* If you have one of these blank-firing pistols (full list below) it needs to be handed in to a Police Station by midnight tonight. I’m sure there will be long-retired reenactors and living historians, Wild West enthusiasts, collectors and those who bought them to use as starting pistols, who have these kicking about in drawers and cupboards, who won’t have heard that these are now prohibited weapons. The amnesty to hand them in without consequences ends TONIGHT. Police statement: “An amnesty for the surrender of five top-venting blank firers (TVBFs) is taking place between Monday 2 February and Friday 27 February in England and Wales.   The guns are prohibited under the Firearms Act 1968 as they can be readily converted into dangerous weapons. After the amnesty period, anybody found in possession of these blank firers could face up to 10 years in prison.  The Italian-made models subject to the amnesty are:  •8mm PAK Bruni BBM Model 92 blank-firing self-loading pistol (Replica Beretta M9). •8mm PAK Bruni BBM New Police blank-firing self-loading pistol  (Replica Walther PKK). •8mm PAK Bruni BBM Model 96 blank-firing self-loading pistol (Replica Colt M1911). •8mm PAK Bruni BBM Model ‘GAP’ blank-firing self-loading pistol (Replica Glock). •.380R (9mmK) PAK Bruni BBM ME Ranger single-action blank-firing revolver. (Replica Colt Peacemaker Revolver). If you possess one of these firearms and surrender it to the police during the amnesty in February, you will not be prosecuted nor required to provide personal details, if you prefer not to.  This is your opportunity to dispose of it safely without criminal consequences.” If you do have any of these do hand it in right away. 👍🏻

Covering the harbour entrance to St. Nazaire & it's U-Boat pens is the old French Fort de l'Ève which the Germans built NZ 305 MKB Bencke. This M270 bunker was cleverly camouflaged as a house. The gun room and access is now closed. A passing tanker adds a nice effect #WW2

@Chieftain_armor Lt Gruber's 'little tank' represents an Sdkfz 222 but is not an actual example, but one built for the TV show. The actual vehicle can be seen at the History on Wheels Museum at Eton Wick.
