@BlackDragonCan The movie closest to the spirit of old school, low level play is The Goonies. A misfit group explores trap filled caves searching for treasure while avoiding bandits and monsters. They're even classed: L-R- Ranger, Wizard, Barbarian, Rogue, Fighter, Bard, Cleric.

To me, this was a better “D&D” movie than any of the named D&D movies. It’s not about duplicating spells or items from the game, it’s about the story and the vibe. Plus Haier and Pfeiffer, c’mon

Did you notice that he's desecrated the Oval Office? The next President can't get rid of the gold on the sea shells without damaging the walls. It demonstrates how the American system of checks and balances utterly failed. Despite there being laws protecting historical spaces like the White House, when it came down to it, no one had the nerve to stop him. No one can stop an insane man from turning the office into a place fit for a tyrannical monarch basking in opulence. There's no check strong enough in the American system. Our check, ironically, is our King. Our constitutional monarch must obey and even respect, parliament, the people. The existence of King Charles means our Prime Minister, no matter how powerful the PMO is, always has an authority above them that they must consult, and swear allegiance to. That's the beauty of our constitutional democracy the Americans are sorely lacking.
