BREAKING: Hegseth has asked U.S. Army Chief of Staff Gen. Randy George to step down and retire immediately. Source: CBS

🇺🇸 Hegseth didn't just fire one general. He fired three... Gen. Randy George, the Army Chief of Staff. Gen. David Hodne, head of Training and Transformation Command. And Maj. Gen. William Green Jr., the chief of Army chaplains. All removed the same day, no explanation given for any of them. With George gone, Hegseth has now replaced nearly the entire Joint Chiefs of Staff. Only the Marine Corps and Space Force chiefs remain from when he took office. His replacement for George is Gen. LaNeve, who served as Hegseth's personal military aide before being fast-tracked into the Army's number two role. The most revealing detail is buried in the Washington Post's reporting: Hegseth has been clashing with Army Secretary Driscoll, who is close friends with Vance. "Hegseth can't fire Driscoll, so he's going to make his life hell." Source: Washington Post
