So let me get this straight, I go to the grocery store and buy … a pound of sliced turkey in a plastic bag, a loaf of bread in a plastic bag, a gallon of milk in a plastic jug, a pack of napkins in plastic wrap, a store-made salad in a plastic tub, a plastic bottle of mustard and ketchup, but they won't give me a plastic bag to carry it home because the plastic bag is bad for the environment? 🙄😂

The replies to this post are a prime example of how this site has become complete and utter garbage.
An innocent post about how one of the great American cities appears to be doing well again (which, as Americans we should ALL be cheering for), somehow turns into people calling me a pedophile, liar, paid conspirator and more.
Utter, utter garbage.

On a flight back after 8 days in San Francisco. I’ve been back every year since 2021. City was buzzing this year. Bars and restaurants packed. People walking the streets. Delores Park body to body yesterday. SF is definitely back!

@otokyo__ Definitely deserves a ticket, because this is the number one cause of road rage isn't it?

A 15-year-old girl accidentally took 10x doses of LSD at the same time.
All because a dealer at a festival forgot a decimal in a dose of liquid LSD.
Instead of 100 µg, she got: 1,100 µ𝗴
6 hours later, she started seizing.
Her fists locked up & she went fetal.
But when she woke up in the hospital 14 hours later, the only words she said to her father were:
"𝘐𝘵'𝘴 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳."
At first, he thought she meant the LSD.
Turns out, she meant 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗶𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿.
The mood swings & hallucinations she had struggled with since she was 5?
Completely. 𝗚𝗼𝗻𝗲.
10 Hours later, she walked home.
She never used her BPD meds again.
She also never relapsed again.
They checked in with her 13 years later and found she never had another issue.

Florida cities in a nutshell:
-Boca: old people & lots of people have money & entitled people, lots of New York transplants
-Tampa: superficial asf
-West Palm: people are snobs, rich, dress to the 9’s
-Miami: BBLs, influencers everywhere, onlyfans headquarters, ravers
-Fort Lauderdale: people just vacay there

Welcome to California — where diesel prices are hitting $10 in the Central Valley.
Tractors, trucks, and everything involved in hauling and logistics runs on diesel. California’s reliance on foreign fuel isn’t just irresponsible — it’s the result of negligent and incompetent government policy.
My colleagues in the majority love to brag that California is the 4th largest economy in the world (which is still contested). I always respond with the same question:
If we’re the 4th largest economy in the world, why is it so hard to live here?
I know my answer.
I’m still waiting for theirs.

Honest question for all the pro transit people. Is $126 billion dollars worth it for HSR from San Francisco to LA when you consider all of the other things that lack funding, like Healthcare? @Scott_Wiener @the_transit_guy @ArmandDoma @CAgovernor
