I know what I would do...but it would piss off all the one win JokeObe stans. Id trade him for a 6th or 7th...take Allar or Nuss in the 3rd,and then pull a 2012 Redskins/2014 Patriots and take Cole Payton compete. for the starting spot against Minshew. Brisett could take his ONE win holdout & extention and shove it

Why I wasn't sold on Simpson for AZ... You need a CYBORG at Quarterback to compete in the NFC West. Ty wasn't a cyborg-level guy for me. There's more likelier that guy next year.

The other side of the argument that makes your point moot is that Mauigoa wasn't going to bring them any more wins either...especially needing back surgery. Other than QB,one player...one position wont do much. That's why its a team sport but you have to have game changing players. The Cardinals don't have many, and had none at RB. I'll never fault a team taking the best player available. If they can get a few more of these game changing dynamic players...then they will get those desired wins. It has to start somewhere and at sometime. I'm glad that it's starting now

“ you don’t know that would be the case” That has already happened and it even just happened with the Raiders last year This is not a good football team and drafting a top-notch running back isn’t going to put the same dent in the win total that fans truly want imo

Jeremiyah Love is owed $50,537,014, all guaranteed, before taking an NFL snap (per Spotrac). No RB contract in NFL history has guaranteed that much money. Clownshow.

I could see you in 2007 saying how smart it was to take Levi Brown over Adrian Peterson. How stupid it would of been to waste a pick on a rookie running back. I guess the smart thing would of been to overdraft a offensive lineman who needs back surgery. You would of slept well knowing the Cardinals blew yet another draft.

I can’t focus on the other 31 picks. The atrocity of wasting the 3rd overall pick to give a rookie running back $16.5 million more in guaranteed money than Barkley gets….it’s just so unbelievably stupid. Only the Deshaun Watson deal is dumber. In the entire history of the NFL

"I've had good dialogue, both Mike and I, with Jacoby." Monti says things with Jacoby Brissett are in a good spot.

The Arizona Cardinals attempted to trade pick #3 to the final minute and didn't get anything close to what they perceived was worth the value. Enter Jeremiyah Love, franchise changer.

They are a terrible organization because of the opposite. They routinely pass over the best player available and draft for need. Other than Caleb Downs,Love was the best player available. They weren't going to overdraft a oljnemen who needs spinal surgery at #3. They passed on Adrian Peterson for Levi Brown once about a time...and thats how a organization slowly turns into garbage.

I don't understand most of Monti's free agent moves. Most of them have been terrible. I don't know what Conner has left or what condition his body will be in after that gruesome injury. Love is obviously the featured back. Benson sure seems to be the odd man out. Probably will be trade bait for a 6th or 7th this season, but thats not much of a loss. 2 seasons of nothing wont be missed. Where they really screwed up is at QB. They don't have one. Willis should of been brought in and then draft one in 2027. Now...I have no idea what they will do

So why did u bring in Allgeier? Why bring back conners???? U take a player this early, youre supposed to get them the ball as much as possible. Conner might be old but he should definitely still get some carries, Allgeier is literally just going to be playing the same role that he had in Atlanta now, taking away short yardage and redzone carries from Love. And now what do you do with Benson????????????

Unfortunately,it seems that not too many in the media or in the Cardinals front office understand this. Hopefully that will change, and with the way he embarrassed the organization with his Instagram holdout, (Demanding a extension & a pay raise after going 1-11)they will get rid of him. One can only hope

@RObrecki @ClancysCorner 100% agree he sucks and has alway sucked he dragged a playoff roster in Indy down that two other QBs took to the playoffs including a 39 year old Phillip rivers…I’d roll with Minshew and a rookie over Jacoby “garbage time loser” Brissett next year

They were looking for a Emitt Smith, Barry Sanders or even a Adrian Peterson the last few decades....but since they are so easy to get, they were just probably out. I'm guessing you thought they should overdraft a oline man who needed back surgery...now that would of been a homerun pick

What the hell did the Cardinals just do. No one drafts running backs in the first anymore. Teams just go to the running back store and pick up a few. It’s like buying a mix and match sixer of beer.

It actually gets worse. He has never had ANY success in back to back years. Whether it was Indianapolis,Cleveland or New England, He'd do ok at first, but once there was enough tape on how he works within a system,he'd become predictable and became a liability. I don't think he would do good at all in LaFleur's system and would get beaten out by Minchew. This was before he showed what a huge asshole he is by holding out. Id trade him for a 6th or 7th in a heartbeat.

I wanted Simpson, but not at 13. I think they really overdrafted for him. They are in a win now mode..so this pick really doesn't make much sense for them. I still want them to trade or cut Jokeoby and draft 2 rookie Qbs. Wanted Simpson & Payton....they will probably go with Allar or Beck....and hopefully take a chance on Cole Payton

@ClancysCorner A plan where one win Jokeoby is the answer has to be the worst plan possible. Id trade him for a 6th and see how many laughing emojis he puts up on his Instagram. The guys a asshole and if you want to call him a starter...he's the worst starter in the NFL

I think the plan was always Jacoby Brissett and draft one in 2027. Glad that seems to continue to be the case. This roster was going to be incomplete regardless for 2026.
Dallin@DrWumbology

@ClancysCorner Our offense is loaded man. Who needs an offensive line if we’ve got a bunch of GOATs holding the ball? But for real, what are we doing for QB? I don’t think anything we can get at this point would be better than Kyler.

That has to be one of the most backwards reply I've read tonight. That's just stupid. You're making yourself into a meme. Cardinals="stupid for even about thinking of moving up the back end of the draft to get Simpson." RAMS= Overdraft Simpson at #13..."Simply Brilliant. Rams are playing chess while Cardinals are playing checkers". What are you guys smoking?

@ClancysCorner Because they want the Cardinals to stay at being the joke of the league. If the Cardinals passed on him & then the Titans drafted Love it would be a homerun pick. Just hypocrites everywhere
