So its basically going to be the "I'll have the Cardinals usual....the loser sandwich" They will get another useless player where they wont pick the 5th year option while Love will go onto being a multiyear probowl selection. Par for the course. Cardinals continue to be a joke around the league..but at least they did it the "right" way

FWIW, I believe the Arizona Cardinals will trade pick #3 tonight, regardless of the pass rusher available. I think there's a good chance the parameters of a deal are already done. If they end up making the pick, I believe it will be Jeremiyah Love.

Some experts seem to think the Rams might be interested in Simpson,but regardless,no one was really interested in Bo Nix,Lamar Jackson,Purdy,Romo,Wilson,Warner or even Tom Brady. Heck..going back even further Warren Moon,Unitas...even Bart Star. Just goes to show that it doesn't matter what others think. Out of all that,all I can say is that the worst thing you can do is not swing and miss...the worst thing is not even taking a swing. I have ZERO faith in Ossenfort,so most likely he will continue to do the low risk drafting..so you'll most likely be happy with how the draft turns out. If it does go the way I think it will,Monti will be fired by October. Cardinals finish with their worst record since moving to the Valley. Season ticket holders are at a all time low,but fans such as yourself will be happy knowing that 2027 will be their year.

Rome wasn’t built in a day and if the fanbase has realistic expectations QB is the way to go in 27 or realistically how many games do Simpson or Brissett win you?

If I were to watch the draft with just caring about what the Cardinals do..then yeah..I probably wouldn't. But since I'm not a diehard Cardinal fan and actually a bigger fan of a few other teams it will be fun to watch what other well run organizations do. It is nice to know that this will be Ossenforts last draft.

@AZCardsShowYo @BurnsAndGambo How is it forcing when you don't have one. Really weird how many Cardinal fans are perfectly fine not having a starting QB on the roster....or how they are fine with the 2026 season being over in April. Maybe they can just run every play this season.

I'm not sure why you wouldn't. I might have mentioned before that I've been in the Valley since 2009...and in that time Ive seen the Cardinals go from the hottest thing in town..to basically a punch line in a bad joke. They are one..if not the most irrelevant teams in the NFL. Id like to see that excitement back instead of seeing the stadium half empty with zero electricity. There's just no excitement anymore

@RObrecki @BurnsAndGambo Adrian Peterson was the best pure runner I've ever seen and they put him behind an elite oline. When the Cardinals have 2 pro bowl caliber olineman and a HOFer on their roster lmk. Then maybe you could justify taking a RB that high.

Do you want Love to play the Wildcat all season? Because he would be your best option at QB this year. It's just amazing to me to see so many Cardinal fans are completely fine with not having a starting QB on the roster. It's like you guys are so used to losing that you don't want it to end. How many Alabama games have you watched this season? He was playing great before he got injured. On a much less talented Alabama roster than what they usually had...he had them ranked #1 for a good part of the season. He is miles ahead of Brisett...and much better than Minchew. If you want another Darius Robinson,BJ " The Glassman "Ojulari or Max Melton,thats great...but to me those are much more of a wasted pick than Simpson would be.

One of the options being completely wasting the 35th pick by picking qb next year is BAD. Simpson isn’t winning shit year1

1. Draft Bailey/Reese or trade down 2. Don’t take Ty Simpson 3. Tank 4. Draft a blue-chip QB in 2027

@Kind0fABigDill @BurnsAndGambo You can also see how the Cardinals did drafting a offensive lineman in round one in 2023 ...or how well it worked out in 2007nwhen they took Brown over Peterson. It's a gamble,but its better than taking Darius Robinson 2.0

On the Cardinals he should be the week one starter,but most likely they will probably wait 4 or 5 games...all of which they will lose.Th3n put him in so somewhat like the Chargers did with Herbert. He should get as much playing time as possible. Should be able to tell if he is the future or if they need to reload with another QB in 2027. Either way you don't lose anything. You either found your future QB,or at least you tried. I cant fault anyone for trying to find the most important position on the team. Personally,I feel Simpson will do very well in LaFleurs system. I could see Minshew doing OK in it...but not Brisett. Out of the 3,I feel Simpson would do the best.

@RObrecki @Kyle_Odegard What do you think Simpson will do this year regardless of where he gets drafted? Week 1 starter? Week 10? Will he play at all? Because I guarantee if the cardinals draft him we aren’t seeing him until minimum week 10. Out best chance at winning is with the vets not a 2nd rnd pick
